Probably because the audience, mostly straight men, don't want to see male cheer leaders, and it would cause loss of money, sponsors and ratings. My dude be logical here. You don't cater to less than 2% of your audience in the name of equality. That will cause you to lose tons of money. Get woke, go broke.

Actually it is, less views equals less ratings, less ratings equals less sponsorship, less sponsorship equals less money. And when it comes to in person stuff lower ticket sales equals less money too. All of which happens if you choose to cater to the smallest minority of your viewership.. Which is what hiring male cheer leaders does. You can disagree all you like, but these aren't opinions, these are facts.
