The news said that Trump will decide about the war within the next 2 weeks according to his Press Secty. What do you think he will decide about Iran?

@sage2021 You know from history, that Iran has never lived up to anything it promised to do. With the hatred there for the West and Israel, even though Trump does not want to see more death and destruction of everything, he has to do something, but what that is, is anybodies guess.

Thank you for asking about my son. Unfortunately he has to have open heart surgery in August sometime to replace his mechanical heart valve. It's 30 years old and they usually don't last more than 25.
I'll keep you posted when all of this is over. I just pray 🙏🏼 that he makes it.

Its possible that Trump goes either way. Pretty much half his administration is breathing down his neck to go to war with Iran but Trump is actually not that interested in it personally. He is also getting a bit annoyed at Israel for a number of things that they have done recently that has made Trump look bad.

But that is besides the point. You dont want Iran to have nuclear weapons? Well, I got news for you on that front. Unless you invade and occupy Iran in a new "forever war" then you dont really have a choice in the matter. Performing an infinite bombing campaign or send in troops to assassinate or destroy facilities is only a temporary setback. It does not actually stop Iran.

Stopping Iran went out the window the moment that Trump ripped up the Iran nuclear deal that USA used to have with them. With that deal gone, no new deal will probably ever be signed and nothing short of an active occupation could even in theory be enough to stop them.

I think he is hoping that Israel gets the job done by then. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon so it is something Trump had to deal with , like it or not. His predecessor just kicked the can down the road.

We’ve already taken Iraq out of power years ago, so he’ll probably do the same to Iran, since those type of countries cannot have nuclear capabilities because they’ll use them on anyone without concern for the rest of the world
