There’s a lot to unpack there. AI and advanced robotics are going to replace us all eventually.
As far as relationships go, the greatest threat to women’s appeal is their entitlement attitude. Look at men who are traveling overseas to meet, marry and have babies with women who offer a very different version of themselves than western women. The women who are left behind are quick to criticize both the men who make that choice and the women who fill that void. They refuse to accept any responsibility for the ways in which they repel men. Because of it, there are already century low marriage and childbirth rates in the US. Feminism allowed women the opportunity to seek fulfillment in aspects of life outside of homemaking and motherhood, and that’s great. They stopped valuing what men value, and that’s not terrible. However, there’s this gross double standard that men have to change to continue meeting women’s whims. If men want women to change though, that’s misogyny. That’s not even getting into the perpetual divorce and child custody travesty of justice for men. Half the population is literally incentivized to destroy their families for any reason or no reason at all. It’s no surprise that women initiate divorce more than twice as often as men. There’s no room for compromise in the west anymore. So men are going east. And that’s great too.
I doubt that i’ve ever met a man who would prefer a synthetic woman to flesh and blood, if their personalities and attitudes were otherwise identical. Lots of men want to have kids. They just don’t want to do so with toxic women. Apparently that’s too much to ask.
In the future, everyone will be happy with their synthetic mates. I wonder if that will finally end the war of the sexes, or if it will just add fuel to the fire.

I wouldn't necessarily call it serious competition.

More likely the dating market will rebalance itself and we will have about equal numbers of men and women seeking a committed relationships while the excess men will date robots and women who prefer fuckboys will continue doing so.

Also I don't think that this will change the birth rate one way or another before artificial wombs are a thing.
