had guns since I was a kid. I don't like guns.
I'm not anti gun, but I don't like them. I killed somethign once, and I didn't like that. I recall the story of a guy in CA heard an intruder in his room, in the closet, so he decided to shoot. it was his son, whom he shot dead. ok, that's rare...
you know how many people accidentally get killed by some idiot pulling a trigger each year? it's a lot. More than sharks bite.
I know it's required at times for survival, but maybe survival isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'll let you decide. There are times, we do need to take power over evil though, so yea, a gun is necessary evil.
I'll say this, without guns, there would be no security would there? I can only write this in peace because someone has a gun pointed at someone else. But there should be a better way to attain security, but we ain't figured it out past what Jesus did... which is die and get out of here!
but there is a simple human reality best told by primates... guns are power!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/GhxqIITtTtUok... that's enough monkeying around...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/y5jQYOcpVks @Theodish_Warrior yea probably, but some of the greatest of men are strong enough or smart enough to avoid the fight and death. perception of weakness is what leads to the threat and having to use force. That's basic from nature.
im not saying im strong enough, I'd rather be more strong. I'd do what I had to do to protect innocent.
all of this is a problem of security.. fundamental human problem.
Was Jesus manly... probably not in perception.
@Theodish_Warrior makes some sense, Jesus had a different objective, to save people from the oppression of this world. That's why it's difficult to be a christian int his world. I don't know these others... there were plenty of those Gods at the time Jesus was walking around.
I am a fan of The 2nd Amendment since it comes with citizen’s birth rights and one of them is to be able to acquire and own a firearm.
What I will say is, we need investments in our nation’s mental health and push for limitations on certain firearms, implement universal background checks, also have National Gun Laws created by Republicans and Democrats to come up with a solution.
Recently, I have opened my eyes to us pouring billions of taxpayer dollars to fight migrant crime, push deportations, and ban certain countries from allowing people to come here who might cause violence…. Why not put billions against violence caused in America by Americans? Mosques, Churches, Synagogues, Schools, Grocery Stores, Malls, Nightclubs, The Streets, etc. and where does it end?
We were able to implement change for air travel without banning planes, we restricted Americans and we added procedures that prevent on flight incidents.
We can do this. We can solve this crisis. Don’t let anyone sell you the lie, that any law on guns is going to take your guns or whatever because it won’t.
Not really. I'm not like offended by the existence of hobbyists or hunters, but I've never actually enjoyed weapons in general. Can't say I love that some people just like, have them around though, ya know in their houses and whatnot, fully prepared to kill another person given the right circumstances. Seems a bit unhinged for a theoretically developed society.
I'm generally pro gun control with the caveat that I understand that some places they're just kind of necessary for various reasons. And again, I don't mind them under safe and controlled circumstances for people who are mature and educated enough to handle them appropriately.
My shotgun allows me to shoot ducks and bring them home to eat. But I don't go out shooting for "fun."
Guns are useful for hunting. I don't use them for anything else.

Not really, but I feel like things are starting to get crazy in America, and I don’t want the crazies to be the only ones armed.
Overall, I don’t think the invention of a machine that makes homicide simple is a good thing, whether for the offensive or the defensive. And my least favorite people are the ones who CAN’T WAIT to “fear for their life” and put somebody down🙄🤡
But here we are, lmao.
Ironically, I love gangsta rap, and my favorite rap group frequently punctuates their lines with imitations of various types of guns, and I swear I could listen to an entire album of just Griselda gun sound ad libs😂
One million cool points awarded to you then😎
Buh-buh-buh-buh-buh-BOOM!!!😝
Shout out Westide Pootie, love hearing her trash talk adults, lmao. “You ever been kicked outta school for being too fly? I didn’t think so. And I’m only in the fourth grade! And you should’ve seen what the principal was driving! Huhhh-LARIOUS.”🤣🤣🤣
That's awesome, welcome to the 2A community! I love firearms. My fondness started when I was in High-school. My church had our denomination's district Men's Retreat, and they brought in a guy that had Full Automatic firearms from WWI and II, I got to shot his full-auto Thompson Sub-machine gun. Also one of the kids brought a semi-auto AK and I got to shoot it as well. This got me interested in firearms and planted the seed of eventually getting one. Then Sandy Hook happened while Obama was in Office and he and Politicians were talking of banning "Assault Rifles" and I decided I needed to get one before I couldn't. I dived in deep head first.
Honestly, I carried guns for a living. Guns are boring and they require maintenance. Shooting well is like driving a car. Almost any dweeb on the planet can learn to do it. I have trouble seeing why childlike minds obsess over guns. It's just a chemical propellant spitting a solid kinetic projectile out of a metal tube whether it's a handgun, a long gun, a shotgun, a machine gun, a grenade launcher, heavy artillery, a tank, or a mortar.
Fan of guns? No. They can be useful in certain specific situations. They can be dangerous in the hands of dumbphucks. Hence the reason I stay the hell out of the woods during deer season and don't go to a firing range open to the general public. That's about the limit of my emotions regarding guns.
In a high trust society, such as the UK 20 years ago, it should not be necessary.
If they are necessary, they're an indication that something has gone severely wrong. It's a bit like Western medicine. Treat the symptoms of the problem rather than the root itself.
No I don´t like guns nonetheless they are necessary in certain contexts and used by the right people.
If my school had guns and there was an assault or a shooter in my year I would have been one of the killed kids as most of my school teachers mistaked me from someone else and they´d have probably shot me rather than the shooter as I also sat close by the door.
No. I have been to most countries in Europe, Middle and far East. I have been in situations requiring a gun exactly two times. Even they were because I was in a firing range.
I see little point in guns outside of sports, war and recreation.
Guns aren't the issue, it's the reason why people want them, to kill other people who cause them offence, scare them or take their property.
Target shooting is noble and an exceptional skill based sport. Hunting is not necessary in modern era civilised society, war is an unfortunate event thanks to civilisation and human faults leading to them but this is why soldiers are the only ones who should have any authority to use firearms against other people (only other soldiers too)
Guns are like dogs, there's only bad owners. I think better training should be mandatory to own a gun. Maybe even do a 2 year mandatory military service and only then can you purchase a gun. Basically only want really qualified owning a gun, too many irresponsible owners that ruin it for the majority.
It's a necessary evil, you're not going to stop bad people or wild animals by holding hands and singing fucking Kumbaya. If your house catches fire, are you going to grab a fire extinguisher or wait for the fire department while your house burns down? Why let somebody burn your fucking life down?
I'm not a fan of them there not for everyone.. but I do have them I used to hunt I don't anymore and I like to target practice.
But I don't believe people should be carrying them on there hips where ever they go
Guns are fun to operate but I'm glad that we can walk the streets in Europe without having to fear someone pulling a gun on you during a dispute. Guns are causing violence and deaths, the US is a prime example for that
As a concept I am not against them. But I do think the type of weapon and who has access to them should have more control in the US. We have guns in the UK but it is regulated and we have the one of the fewest gun related crime rates in the world
@Theodish_Warrior not suggesting we ban guns or ban cars, but with cars we accept they are dangerous so people need to prove that they are efficient with them before being able to use them, and once they demonstrate this we give them a licence. We know that accidents can be deadly so we put seat belts and air bags in them, we also don’t let children drive them, and we can disqualify people who misuse them, and u can have ur licence taken off u if ur medically unfit. Doesn’t seem crazy to make similar adjustments for guns.
I was brought up around a houseful of hunters and learned how to shoot and proper gun etiquette, when CCL permits were required in Florida I had one and do carry a concealed weapon.
Very pro-gun as it is just a tool for a purpose.
I'm anti-murder, so I do oppose 100% of actions that cause murder.
I do agree with you on, once learning how to use a gun properly people are more responsible with the weapon.
Even though I own quite a collection of firearms, I can't honestly say that I am a "fan" of guns.
I am not a, gun nut but I own a hand gun and a shotgun. I belong to a range about 10 miles from my house. I practice regularly and keep my guns handy.
No but I have a gun. My partner gave me it when I came over to the States and taught me to use it.
I am sure.
As for a revolver they are not actually a that great of an option for women, they are very limited in capacity and often have more recoil than most anticipate so they then don't want to shot them much to learn. There have been a lot of guns lately ment for women or those with weak hands. A very good one is the ruger security 380, or Smith and Wesson EZ 380, which I wish they would update to be their Equalizer.
I am not.
But probably I could feel excited about having a sports cannon. That could be fun.
I even can think of cannonading competitions or beauty contests among collectors.
lowkey yes. if i lived in the us i'd get one
NO. They don't belong in the hands of anyone.
yeppers, I have always been since I was a kid a camp and they used to have a range, and you shot a 22.

May I ask what prompted your opinion on firearms to change?
As much as I'm fan of the drill and vacuum cleaner in my garage.
I'm pretty neutral about guns as long as they not near me.
I’m a firearms enthusiast and supporter of the second amendment to the US Constitution.
No. I’m neutral on guns and massively against gun „culture“.
Shooting targets is fun. I wouldn't think twice of using a gun on someone if I managed to get theirs off them. But to carry or harm with intent? Pass.
Guns no but water guns yh that I can do lol but why does one want to be a fan of guns except you are in the military or something
I mean terrorism wins in the USA. He is in New York after spreading terror so it sends the wrong message to those wanting peace.
I'm not a fan of recreational shooting of machine guns as pictured here
The one pictured is not a machine gun. It is a semi-auto AR-15 with possibly a Franklin Armory Bi-nary trigger. It has 3 fire modes; safe, fire, and Bi-nary. Fire is traditional semi-auto (one shot per pull of the trigger) and Bi-nary is also still semi-auto but uses the full definition of "Semi-auto" which is fires on shot per function of the trigger, a function is anytime the user pull and and other function when they release the trigger. Hopefully, I explained that thay it made sense.

Americans shoot these for recreation
As you described a gun that you can hold the trigger and it shoots is a machine gun. If you are pulling the trigger for each one, that is semi-auto. 99% of guns don't use belt feed and magazines range from 3 rounds to 60 rounds of ammo. Revolvers, lever, and pump actions all can be shot just as fast as semi-auto firearm and those are technically classified as manually loading firearms.
Yes, the firearm she is using is a semi-auto firearm by classified under the US National Firearm Act that was put in place in 1934. It is only capable of firing on round per function of the trigger. I haven't confirmed it from her yet but I do believe she only has two 10-round magazines in the gun that are coupled together at their base plate of the mag.
Haha, I don't think I ever seen that movie lol. Its a comedy and they definitely just made it very outlandish. Funniest part was when he picked up loose rounds d and threw them and killed them. Then her getting shot and the entire cartridge sticking out of the locket, plus the round wasn't even from the gun the guy shot her with.
So completely wrong it makes it funny lol
I'm ok with Guns, as long they are being used correctly.
Yes, I also like 2c how powerful they are n how many shots they hold.
No, but I don't think they should be banned like a lot of clueless pols.
I'm pro second amendment even though I wouldn't own a gun.
Sure, needs the right balence legislation-wise
US maybe too slack but the UK and Australia are too draconian
A necessity for modern life, but i prefer a crossbow over a gun, because I can make bolts
Nah, like a ranged stapler; I generally don't need additional holes in my stuff
I love the second amendment and I love my guns
It's hard to tell but I suspect she has little guns
Yes, but not in the hands of socialist/communist individuals. You commie scum!
I'm a fan of proper safety...
Yes under the right circumstances
The second amendment is based.
I am not and never gonna be one 👍🏻
When in the right hands, yes.
no i think they're a necessary evil.
I'm not a fan of them, but I'm not anti-gun.
What do you like about them?
I like them, but I prefer classical firearms.
Yes I am, as well all of my friends.
Not especially, but I’m finally getting a license
No, they are a necessary evil.
I like them but wouldn't keep one
It’s a tool and has its uses
Thirty-eight D guns.
I absolutely love my guns
