The problem with medicare and stuff like that is that they are incredibly mismanaged and many people are using it when they are ineligible i. e. the dead.

I think it shouldn't be a thing at all because they operate off of taxpayers and it does not provide the incentive to actually do their job because tax evasion is illegal.
