It’s worse than that. Yes this bill has no tax on tips. No tax on over time. No tax on social security (the older crowd really needs this). But what AOC is voting for is the near 20% tax hike that the Biden admin put in effect with the infrastructure bill that take effect in 2025. If trumps bill doesn’t pass then expect a parting gift from Joe Biden of a 20% hike on your taxes.

I do not support biden, I just think he was better in everyway compared to Trump. Medicare was done under Obama. And no I dont support all of his actions either but this was a good thing for American people. I am not even American, but I know that trump is doing nothing but lying. Look at the approximately one hundred million dollars lost for constituents by losing the AMAZON contract to build and expand in her neighborhood, because she did not know the difference between taxes and tax breaks, Amazon left, and spent that money in another place, not in her area, It is a wonder the bar stayed open with her math skills

no tax on tips isn't exactly what it sounds like. it's basically forced tipping to lower the cost to the business owner. tips shouldn't be taxed period, but we shouldn't be tipping in the first place. i understand it and it's nice for the employee, but it's expected and it shouldn't be. and now it's forced. and now extra fees added onto the end price is somehow justified and has no real explanation. what are these people going to do when everyone is too poor to support their business or can't pay for car insurance? you've split society into 2. the haves and have nots. and money won't save you
