Unless you've real money California. Taxes are too high, wages too low, house prices and rent to high, food costs are too high, crime too high, schools are overcrowded, eating out costs are too, insurance prices to high, plus bad governance from politicians...

I will say this, more people fled from Florida to California so, I don’t see this as black and white. It isn’t are Blue States better than Red States , it is your decision to live somewhere / not and you shouldn’t be judged for it. Texas , Florida , and others have pros and cons just as New York , Oregon , and California do. We should just hold everyone accountable and responsible wherever the may roam and not pick favorites.

That still doesn’t answer if the website was knowingly an embarrassment, why would they continue with it? Also is there photographic evidence of this not just blips on a map?

You said floridans have the same problems. As far as im aware many are moving there for their weather and gun rights, lower taxes and better wages. It works by taking a snap on the app and your location.

Actually I did my own research and SnapCrap was made by a citizen who lived in Vermont then moved to California then realized there was a poop epidemic. That wasn’t San Fransisco officials and their app totally unrelated , it seems that the app was removed though San Fransisco has its own ‘311’ app which actually allows the reporting of those issues.
So there were instances and I don't know how bad it is now since that was all 2018…. Though at least the officials have their 311 app to report it.

It's true that the cost of living is higher in coastal cities. Wages are also higher. Why is housing expensive? Because that's where the jobs are. If California were a country, it would have the fourth or fifth largest economy in the world. The coastal states support the inland red states.

Crime is through the roof in california, they've even decriminalised a lot of crimes like shop lifting. Where I used to live target and wallmart closed down because shoplifting was so bad. People were walking out the door with whatever they wanted.
Fourth or fifth richest economy means nothing when it comes to average people. Why when Britain was the richest most powerful economy in the world in its cities her people starved the same as those in India.
The opioid epidemic is ravaging everywhere, its just that drug culture is so prevalent in california that nobody notices.
Wages may be higher in california but not much more but when you consider housing prices/rent and the cost of living they are actually lower. You may not like it but that is why people are fleeing california for neighboring red states.

Colorado. I miss the ocean. My grandparents are about to lose the house they've owned for the last 40 years because of high property taxes eating their retirement money after big money came in and built 2nd holiday homes and holiday homes to rent. Imagine being evicted from a house you own.
