Florida isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's not like you've died and gone to heaven in Florida. They have to deal with huge snakes, alligators, and hurricanes! Does that sound like paradise? I wouldn't want to live there. Most Floridians will tell you the humidity sucks there.

I've met many people formly from California that have left because taxes are too high, wages too low, cost of living too high and rent/house prices are too high. Reason enough for anyone to leave especially if you don't have money and aren't established there, like if you are a young couple starting out or raising a family struggling to pay bills.
