What state do you think George Washington would live in if alive today?
although the worlds been americanized so you can't really escape this hell
He was born and died in Virginia. I suspect he wouldn’t have changed that. Maybe he’d have properties in the state and district named after him though! Ell oh ell!
He most certainly wouldn’t choose any states that are prone to extreme partisanship. He was outspoken against it as a founder and our first president. He even famously refused to declare a party. As a farmer, military man and co-author of the Bill of Rights, he certainly wouldn’t choose a state with oppressive firearms legislation. He would also very likely have some select words about taxation today.
He was wealthy and influential, yet modest. He didn’t take to his peers insisting he would be a great first president. In fact, Washington didn’t want the job at all. I think that’s a big part of what made him such a remarkable leader. Modern politicians are all driven entirely by their greed for wealth and power.
Not for nothing, but i think we should resolve presidential elections the same way they did the first. The candidate with the most votes takes the presidency. The one with the second most becomes vice president. If they prove that they can’t work together, Congress holds a vote of no confidence and an emergency election to replace them both.
Prior to Trump, Washington was the wealthiest US President ever, so he probably wouldn't have wanted to be stuck paying California income taxes. I think Florida, Texas, or Wyoming would have been his choice.
Definitely a california man for retirement. Along with Lincoln.
Leave the USA as of current US is not what he was planning for

Florida, he would be down in the Keys living the good life
George Washington was from Virginia and that's where he spent most of his life.
Probably either Maryland or Virginia.
He'd probably stay in Virginia.
