Hey, I'm muscular and white and I got tons of pussy in Japan. I almost ended up married to one while I was living there. The food and day to day life is why so many are skinny there in my opinion. We walked constantly everywhere and the food wasn't sloppy shit like I get here in the states. As a lifter, it was sometimes a pain in the ass just to get enough protein. I think you just have the perception that they prefer skinny dudes simply because that's pretty much all they get to choose from.

Also, shame still exists there. So a fat person is going to get called out for being fat almost constantly. I didn't think I was bragging but now that I said that and re-read, I can see how it came off as bragging. It sounds almost unachievable here in comparison.
