I've seen guys get taken advantage of for long periods of time, like years to decades. Women in general get taken adv of for a brief time, unless they have been enslaved... which sadly, does happen. I hope those get free and take their revenge.

It’s because it happens to women more often than men. You’re right in that male victims of assault and rape shouldn’t be ignored, but the reason people “assume” men can’t be victims at all is because they’re a very small portion compared to the female victims. This majority collection can skew perspectives.

For men, 1 in 10 have experienced some form of sexual assault or rape in their life, which means that’s 10% of all men on earth and with a population of 8 billion, that should be approximately 8,000,000 men. This is a difference of roughly 24 million in a female majority. I’m not belittling anyone, I’m just stating the math and facts that can lead into these harmful assumptions you’re talking about.

These are the statistics according to the American Department of Justice, so I suppose these numbers are skewed to the American population and making further calculations based on that, which I agree is probably not the best way I could go about it.
