Why are some women so entitled?

Okay many men are too and I have asked questions about this. There is the other side of this. So don’t jump me for being a sexist when I’m not.

There are some very one sided women who make men they’re with absolutely miserable. Because they demand everything and give little to none in return.

Traditional relationships aren’t really what I’m looking for. But there is a give and take. There’s roles they both play in supporting and taking care of one another.

There is many women now who want to have their date paid for even if they asked to go, they are too lazy to pull their own chair out or open a car door, they want all this stuff.

Especially women who never worked a day in their lives and still expect her man to do everything for her. Even cooking and cleaning.

From my personal observation it is mostly women whose mother's have pampered them excessively.

The thing with entitlement is that it has to be enabled by at least someone in some way, like you mentioned yourself entitled men exist too, lots of them in fact, they do so because they are taught that they can be. Same principle here. Even when women enjoy all those rom-coms movies and dream of a Wattpad boyfriend, again from my personal observation of knowing a lot of those kind of girls even they understand that realistically they have to put in work and effort as well, but the ones who are truly entitled usually have someone actively enabling them in a way that it is very obvious to everyone around them, and almost all the time it is the mother. Some girls can also be influenced by friends but I don't see it being that strong of an impact.

A prime example that comes to my mind is when my parents were looking to get my brother married (arranged marriage, and as of now he is already married so we are talking a little about the past). You can go ahead and read the long story, but in short this one girl had literally no substance than being hot and her mother constantly bragged about how special and precious she is and expected her to be treated like royalty, bragging that she cannot do chores because she is so well taken care of. The girl lacked the most basic of manners and hardly any quality.

My brother met this girl and invited her and her mother (father passed away) to my parents home with the intention of getting to know each others families and arrange for their marriage if things go well.

Her mother much talked 90% of the time during their visit. All of it was her bragging about their lineage/ancestry, what a great aristocratic family they come from, how her daughter is very special and grew up with a lot of care like she is a whole princess, how she should be well taken care of like royalty and they won't settle for any less, she gets lots and lots of wedding proposals... all while not saying anything of any substance, nothing about any skill she has, nothing about any good personality trait, nothing about any accomplishments, no credentials, not even basic educational qualifications, my parents doubt if she even survived high school.

The girl herself was no good either, my parents said she had no manners/etiquette. She did not even greet my parents when she was welcomed at the door nor did she bother to say something like "it was nice meeting you" when she left. They had dinner at my parents place and everything she asked for sounded like a command than a request ("hey give me that" instead of "could you pass me that please, thank you"). I don't even use that language with my friends and can't fathom how anyone speaks to an elder like that coming from a culture where we talk to elders with utmost respect. I went to a school of rich kids and saw many entitled spoiled brats but not anyone who didn't even know the very basic manners. Her mother made excuse for her behavior saying that she sounds like that because she can't speak our native language (Bengali) as well as she can speak English. BULLSHIT. I have a friend who is South African so she can't speak Bengali either and she is very polite when she comes over to our home. I was dating a guy outside of my race who met my parents, he doesn't speak our language and my parents don't know English well so they didn't verbally communicate a whole lot, but they were still impressed by how well-mannered he was and really liked him. And you want to tell me a girl who can speak our language, maybe at a poor vocabulary level (why does she even have such a poor vocabulary when she is born and raised in our country and it's her first language?) but she can definitely speak more than my Arab ex or South African friend right? Her social media is just her posing at a bunch of expensive locations, partying with friends, taking pictures with cars etc. As one of the places she went to is located a walking distance from where we previously lived for decades and my dad owns some property there, he asked her if she knows the name of that area but she didn't (again how does she know nothing about the city that she lives in while she is partying in different locations?).

After that meeting her mother was very dissatisfied and complained a lot. My parents have always been very hospitable people but this woman's expectations were ridiculous. She thought my parents didn't treat her daughter well enough because they were not "excited" to see her, my mother didn't FEED her (although my mother stood right by her when she was eating and served food on her plate), my father "humiliated" her by asking her if she knows that part of the city, the food wasn't good enough (my mother is SICK, she still cooked all the side dishes and dessert only the main dish was ordered from someone we personally know), my mother didn't talk to her enough (she has always been a quiet and introverted woman). Basically she couldn't handle that it is not just us who had to impress them but they had to impress us too. They expected that we would already be impressed and eager for her.

A lot more shit happened afterwards but even without all those happening my parents didn't like them from the first meeting. Yet considering my brother and how much he liked her, my dad asked them for some documents like IDs and CV (it is common for us to make marriage CVs that give a quick glance at your general info for a potential spouse to get to know you, which usually includes basic info like school job address height photos) to start processing the marriage papers. Turns out she doesn't even have her ID made and were basically beating around the bush when dad asked if there is anything they have that he can use for documentation, and the mother bragged that she "never needed to make a CV" because it is just taken for granted that she is such a catch.

At home all my family members unanimously agreed this girl is bad news and her mother is worse. It made my brother very upset and led to some arguments and tension in the family, but it all ended eventually.

Now brother is married to someone who's been our family friend for years (so technically they have known each other since they were kids) and my sister-in-law is a very sweet woman. She's a doctor and currently studying for an upcoming exam but she still makes time to do some chores around the house and makes effort to know my extended family. Very friendly, social and chill woman. We all love her and although I've only seen her recently as I live away from home and currently paid a short visit, we already talked so much and bonded very well. I always felt like I have no one to talk to at home but with her staying with us now I really feel like I have someone.

There is simply two kinds of women. Traditional and Modern. I find if you let a woman get away with too much, she will. If a guy stands his ground, sets good boundaries and doesn't waver when she tests him, she will follow him, even upset that she feels that she has too, all the way into hell if necessary.

Women are generally bad, overall, but it's not because they fell from grace, but so many men are now weak and trotten. Some guys can't make decisions. They are wishy washy. They don't know how to even attract. woman, much less keep her.

A modern woman will be much more challenging. You will have to be up on your game, and ready to kick her out of your life, on your terms, to have her coming back.

A traditional woman is much easier and preferred, but there are so few of them. The caveat with these women is they can turn into modern women at a whim. Some are really just insecure. Some are just living in a different time.

If you're a guy, don't listen to the PUA crap, and focus on you. There is a joke that women wait at the finish line and f*ck the winner. This is sadly true. So if you as a guy chase your own perfection, go for the big jobs, start a successful business, and develop some status, you will have chicks sworming you. The key then is how to. spot the good ones from the gold diggers and easy leg spreaders.

We are in a transition where women are making just as much as men and gender roles are starting to kind of change a little, at least for women. Women in large don't want to be stay at home moms and are having kids later to pursue careers.

And then you have online dating where it's much easier for cis women to match guys, and they are put on a pedestal, which inflates their ego. It might also be how they were raised.

But some modern women (not all women) want the best of both of both worlds. They want to be independent and make their own money (which is great), but they also want guys to pay for everything as well and be chivalrous. But You can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't be a tradionalist and a feminist at the same time. For them its no longer equality, but equity.

I don't know. I think it’s just a problem in society in general and I see it across the board. People want to have there cake and eat it too. I don’t think it has to do with gender, it’s just people that wanna get what ever they can out of you because there idea of love is totally clouded by the internet experience. I think it’s ok to be traditional or modern how ever you like your relationship, but wanting both is greedy and pretty exhausting.

For girls it’s called being a total succubus. The man version is called an incubus.

Yes men too. They got more stay at home dads than ever now or just lazy men who’s woman is the bread winner and they still want them to cook and clean too. I’m not dissing stay at home parents. I’m just saying you signed up for the traditional role when you made that choice to make it your job. If you stay at home you should be doing most of the house work regardless of gender. And if your modern you need to work more. They both can work but not when one partner is trying to have all the perks of both.

There are some evolutionary behaviors were women are more selfish then men because there was a time in history they had to be for survival purposes and to successfully support/protect their children. A man with resources would make this more possible.

However in the modern western culture women have more than enough opportunities to financially survive on their own. They also have law enforcement, legal systems, advanced security and even weapons (guns, tasers) that even the playing field where they don’t need a powerful strong man to protect them.

Yet at a DNA level this entitlement is still rearing it’s ugly head when it’s not necessary or in many cases just not fair.

Honestly I don’t know how the hell to best handle this. When feminists start complaining about this behavior while completely ignoring the obvious hypocrisy here it makes me want to vomit.

Now I know some girl is going to say “oh I’m no like that” and maybe she isn’t. But she needs to acknowledge and call out the fact that way too many women are. Way too many.

Asking why some women are entitled is like asking why some rich kids feel like menial labor is below them: if everything you've ever wanted has just been handed to you and life has been mostly without struggle (even if trivial, hardship has to be endured for personal growth to occur), why would you feel the need to get "less" when you've always had the option for "more"?

In both cases we are sold on TV and popular media exceptionally high standards as if they were more accessible than they are.

For men this means high sex appeal women top 10%. For women this means attractive, charming, and very successful men also top 10%.

The main difference is because men's evolutionary strategy includes spreading their seed widely, we are much more able to adapt to reality of the women we can get access to.

Women who are betting a pregnancy and baby on the selection tend to hold out and refuse to compromise. As their standards are soo out of touch with what is available this of course has resulted in half of them never getting any man at all.

Well, the conclusion I have gotten to with this, is that the women who think this way were either brought up to treat a man as is a human credit card and nothing else, or they were pampered and spoiled so much during their childhood that they end up thinking they really are something special and that the guy should feel honored to have her as his girlfriend. These type of women believe they're the center of the world and that people turn around to stare at her when she enters a room, when in reality, people feel disgusted by them.

I am a working women myself and feel there are things that we both should do to help each other out. I also believe both people should work. There are really no traditional responsibilities anymore. Women get a lot of privilege in the society just for existing. Actually women from rich and middle class backgrounds are like that , poor wen who struggle through life are never like that.

Now those women can get away with all of the responsibilities in life while they are young. Free food , stuffs , drink from men , dedicated scholarships , support from society , in many countries dedicated seats on public transportation and so much. Which make them highly privileged than any guy.

However many of those perks also vanish with age, that's why you can see older women of two types mostly. One who accept their lives and become kinder and work and otherwise Karens.

I don't knows what entitled is. I know that girls put forth a lot of time and effort to attract guys she wants. I also know that when you are young and pretty, guys want you and will do a lot to have you and keep you happy. If a foolish guy will not, there are other smart and equally attractive guys that will.

Because these are the women that get asked out the most. If you ask out women who don’t have a million other men chasing them, you get different results but men chase the same women whether it’s because they think those women are attractive, easy to get, found them on the same app because you don’t try meeting women irl, etc. but you can’t expect different results if you keep going for the same type of women.

Because women be seen as something special. They want to be adored and connect the amount of effort a man spends in them with the amount of appreciation he has for them.

Women view themselves in competition to other women so if they see a woman getting something from her man, they want that, too.

I think what some men don´t understand is that it´s more of a turn-off to women if a guy gives them everything they ask for than a guy that sets boundaries since the later shows he has a backbone and morals.

Women like to test a man to figure out if he´s a good partner or not.

But I believe that a man is a leader and should act like one. Woman and men depend on each other. When your getting to know someone these are the very few things a guy does to show he appreciates her.

Call it some form of "justice".

Men tend to get paid more on average for doing the same job.
We tend to have less requirements to appear in public. (no need for lots of time to makeup etc...)
A man having multiple lovers is called a "player". A woman with multiple lovers gets called a lot of really low and degrading names.

So I guess it's fair that "at least" they got the advantage that we men can be easily manipulated into "thinking" that they deserve the amount of privilege that they want.

They've literally got a body positivity movement so they can be accepted for being fat and hairy.

Women do this because they can and the reason they can is because men let them get away with it. Most men are so taken with women's appearance and sexuality that they will allow them to do things that they would never allow a less attractive woman or a man to do. This becomes a real problem because the women that are the recipients of this kind of behavior by men begin to feel that they are literally entitled to all the things that they've been receiving for men who really just want to have sex with them. I personally am not impressed with women that are particularly good looking and I stay well away from women who behave in a way that suggests that they feel entitled to things that other people are not entitled to.

Usually, the more people get the more they expect. I would say that's the way entitlement works whether you are a man or woman. But I agree, women are more entitled. That's not a complaint towards women. I'm just acknowledging what I see. I've always looked at it as a challenge to improve myself and I have.
