Why is it that race and skin color is so important these days?

This country is so divided. Black people hate white people for being white. I understand there still mad about the slave times but its been over for damn near over a 100 years. What people did back then isn't right now. People need to stop living in the past. Plus when we went to civil war the north won so the slaves would be free. If anyone likes to learn something for once Abraham Lincoln was a republican president who wanted slavery to end. Hence is why he was killed for it.

Slavery has technically been over for 160 years, not damn near 100 years. But did you think Black people's problems ended with the Emancipation Proclamation like someone flipped a light switch? They didn't. The Klan came into existence. Segregation was forced on non-whites. There were Jim Crow laws to intimidate and obstruct Black people from using their right to vote. When that didn't work, Black homes, churches, and businesses were burned and Black men and boys were shot or lynched. Black women were raped. Blacks were denied equal access to education, the financial system, and housing for generations. The Civil Rights movement in the 1960's ended some of that. Some of it continues to this day.

Why do you thin skinned White dilettantes and snow flakes have such a problem admitting the shit your ancestors and in some cases your friends today have done to Black people since before the country was founded in 1776? You didn't own slaves. Well goody for you. You're not a total piece of shit. That's a pretty low bar to clear. How many Black families live on your street? How many Black kids attend your kid's schools? See many Black people at your bank? Would you say good morning to a Black man on the street or cross the street to avoid him?

This is going to sound silly but when I was a little kid I had a lot of cousins close to my age. I remember we use to all drink out of solo cups at our grandparents house in the summer. We always got cups mixed up and needed new ones... well she bought different colored cups and everyone fought to have the blue one everyone hated to have the yellow... when before they were all red and no one cared to pay attention to even know which one was theirs...

The best sense I can make of racism is that we learn who we are from everyone else around use. That's how we begin to identify. we all want the best for ourselves and think of ourselves as the best well to be the best there has to be people below you...

There are 7billion people in this world that's 7 billion different ways of saying i... 7billion different colored cups so we put those 7 billion into different groups well if one person fights one other person it quickly can turn into one group fighting another. Until we are all the same there will always be problems. The world is the most perfect imperfections. We make it what it is...

The left has weaponized identity politics for years, which has actually caused more racial division. Obama's campaign and presidency revolved around identity politics and this "PC" culture. The Xiden regime blew it up further. Prior to the Obummer era, I didn't notice nearly the severity of racial tensions as I do now.

I see the hate from black people in the media reports when things go really wrong. I thankfully, have not experienced it in person.
