For starters being hispanic or a latino is nothing to do with race, you can be white, black native American and be Hispanic or Latino.

Being Hispanic means generally you are spainish speaking. So you could be from Spain or a spainish immigrant living in the Americas or a decendant of a spainyard who moved to new york and settled in spainish harlem. White liberals tend to think of Hispanics as Mexicans and south Americans but Brazilians are not Hispanics, they are Latins. The difference being they speak Portuguese not spainish. Basically anyone in what was the old spainish empire which includes many in florida, texas, new Mexico and california.

Take Anna Taylor Joy, she's white and hails from Argentina and like most Argentinans speaks spainish, she is Hispanic. Whereas jenna oretga and Rachel zegler are said to be Hispanics being descendants of Hispanics and having brownish skin but they both don't speak much spainish if any.

Latina/Latino is meant to be similar to those in Europe who are considered as Latins, basically anyone who speaks the romance languages of spainish, French, Italian, sicilian, Portuguese which are languages descended from Latin and the old Roman empire. So you could technically be French cajun in louisananna or French Canadian and white or black and be a latino/latina.

So why would they vote Republican instead of Democrat.

1. Because democrat white liberals are so ignorant of what a Hispanic or Latino is.

2. Because democrat white liberals just assume they will vote democrat based on their race or ethnicity without doing anything for them.

3. Because most Hispanics and latinos in America didn't just cross the boarder. They are law abiding citizens who pay their taxes and know the dangers of unchecked immigration.

4. Most Hispanics and Latinos are very conservative people, probably the most conservative. They are Catholic, they believe in the family, they believe in working hard and aren't on board with all this woke lgbtq nonsense and other bullshit that emerges from liberal colleges.

5. Democrats going back to their racist kkk roots where they class anyone who is not white Anglo saxon prodestant as non white and that doesn't represent Hispanics or Latinos. It was that racist assumption from Democrats that originally classified all Hispanics and latinos as a race.
