now that they've been removed there's no point in going back, but that being said i dont think there's anything that racist about uncle ben's and aunt jemima. maybe for jemima the creator could have been slightly racist, but to people in the 21st century, no one is thinking weird thoughts seeing a smiling black woman on a packaging. there's nothing particularely racist about uncle ben's either. it's just a happy black man. they were iconic. the redskins thing, i do think the name is a bit racist. imagine having a team with a chinese man as a mascott and the team is called yellowskins.
Absolutely. The left would have you believe that the guy on the box of rice was a slave or at least represented slavery. It's not true at all. Uncle Ben was white as rice. Ben was a rice farmer who grew the best rice. One day when Ben was out peddling his rice, he met Frank Brown. Frank was a chef that worked in a swanky Chicago hotel. Frank tried the product and loved it. Later when Ben decided to market his rice in stores, he asked his friend Frank, if he could use his picture on the box instead of his own, because he thought Frank was more handsome than him. Frank not only agreed but was flattered.
My question is which white liberal lunatics decided there was something offensive about them?
Especially the Redskins logo, which was a picture of a historical man, drawn by a member of his nation and adopted as the logo to honour the warrior spirit he embodied...
Hell yes they should, they were great products with good flavor, today’s generation it would need a modern approach to advertising to sell

Aunt Jemima is a wonderful story (google it). She should be celebrated. Only the leftist nut jobs think that us seeing a picture of aunt Jemima every day for breakfast for year and years is somehow racist. There is no pleasing those nut jobs so screw them… bring them both back.
Growing up in the late 1940s, I remember waking up and seeing Aunt Jemima, an old friend, and knowing a good breakfast was on the way. I never saw her as a black woman; I saw her as a person smiling. Uncle Bem was the same; he was always smiling because his product was the best. THEN stupidity raised its ugly head and screwed up everything per usual. True to form, the idiots decided to destroy icons that have been around for decades. THE LEFT'S MANTRA is Stupidity reigns supreme!!!
Yes.
This meme, though...
Ell oh ell!
I want a an NFL team named the Whiteskins. Here's the helmet logo.

Wait... I didn't even know they cancelled aunt jemina. That was the shit I'd drown my pancakes in when I didn't care about how much sugar I had back in the day. Ah, that's sad to see my childhood aunt pass away 😢🪦
Yes and fire the woke garbage that got rid of them.
Yes, but they could modernize the images so they look someone's uncle or aunt in a middle class style.

Over the years, before Woke, there were changes to Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben to minimally update their pictures to fit the times, never radically but subtle changes.. The picture shown with the original question, I believe, is the original face of Aunt Jemima could have been Butterfly McQueen or B Bondi
They're not coming back, but it was stupid they were removed.
Absolutely and I would Buy it just like I bought it before Good products
100%. I’m tired of minorities being erased by racist liberals.
Aunt Jemima was a character made up up by Sarah Greene. She would travel all over doing demonstrations as well he character on how to use the pancakes mix.
I like this question! I say shit on the liberal democrats!! Bring'em back!
I could care less. They had a recognizable brand before going woke. Now that is all their brand name is. It doesn't matter what they try now, they already ruined their name.
If a mass shooter called themselves Emo Wilma on social media and murders 23 people in cold blood at a parade with blue dyed hair, and then decided to call themselves Ms. Wilma Thomas afterwards and wears their natural hair color, the jury is still going to find them guilty.
I've often thought it would be interesting to "rewind" to 1959, and how we felt about things then.
Yes definitely. That might be Butterfly McQueen in the first picture.
Yes they should. Those companies capitulated to the racists who thought disrespecting the black founders was morally justifiable as if they didn't actually start those companies. All while leaving the Quaker Oats guy there.
All of these changes were stupid and completely unnecessary
I don't think "Redskins" belongs with those other two. That was long overdue to be relegated to the dustbin of history. That would be like if the rice was called "n** Ben's".
Just light the constitution on fire already.
Sure!
Just replace them with some white dude and watch the wokies go error 404.
That’s the ridiculous part. One day they’re demanding that we stop using iconic names and faces to market products and businesses. The next day they’re complaining that there is no minority representation for products and businesses!
Every other day is just another emotional tantrum waiting to happen.
Trump will stop that from happening
That is all junk food to me...
Yeah. I Africa with all their ilk.
