Since society has become so self-centered and sensitive that we feel the need to cancel Aunt Jemima and Dr. Seuss, do you think Dora the Explorer?

Dr. Seuss wasn't "Cancelled", the publisher removed a few books that were actually pretty problematic in their depiction of certain groups, the publisher had every right to remove those books.
As for "Aunt Jemima", as a company, your main objective is to maximize your profits, catering to your majority is how you do that. If a majority of your buyers don't like a certain symbol, it would be foolish to risk losing such a number of potential buyers. This is also why companies diversify, to appeal to a broader audience. For example, China has Millions of potential consumers, anyone who seeks to maximize their profits will try to tap into that market even if it means that they have to appease the CCP.
Dr. Seuss was never cancelled. His estate chose to discontinue printing six books he wrote, not even the most popular ones, due to some unfortunate illustrations, such as the one below.
Wasn't Dr. Seuss himself a progressive who tried to portray minorities in a positive light, only for Millennials and Zoomers to misinterpret his books as racist?
I’m not a Dr. Seuss historian, so I can’t speak on it, I never really read his books as a kid. Times change, man, and we’ve reached the point where we’re trying to get away from things like this, and maybe having some sensitivity towards the people who may find it offensive, not being like “well, as long as white people aren’t upset, then it’s all good.”
I saw Aziz Ansari perform last year, literally right in front of me, first row, one seat off center of him, so straight from the horse’s mouth. He brought up the protests about Apu from The Simpsons, a character I always enjoyed, personally, which I think was first brought up by Kal Penn (Kumar from Harold & Kumar). He said something to the effect of “People ask why Indians didn’t have a problem with this 30 years ago... motherfucker, we had no VOICE 30 years ago, no one gave a shit what we thought about it.” I’m old enough to remember seeing some Looney Toons cartoons as a young child that depicted “deepest, darkest Africa”, and had absolutely egregious depictions of black people. I probably was entertained as a kid, but what if I was black? And I had black friends who watched Looney Toons, imagine the impact that must have on someone internally.
I’m not saying we have to freak about every single thing, I’m not saying there aren’t instances of over-sensitivity, but if any group of people takes issue with how they’re being depicted, it’s not for any other group to challenge that. Fix it, be better in the future, and move on. The discussion doesn’t need to be framed or approved by white people, or men, or straight people, or whoever is not affected and not offended, yet that constantly seems to happen. I can’t tell other people what’s ok and not ok for them to be offended by, that’s not my place or anyone else’s. People might be emotional about it, but the way you feel is the way you feel, and humans are driven by emotions, almost completely if you factor in the subconscious, as much as anyone tries to claim they’re logical and objective. That’s just who we are as beings. I think we’ll all be ok if a few things have to go away or be revised. Free speech and all that jazz that people bring up, I don’t think the spirit of the rule was to allow anyone to be as insensitive of an asshole as they feel like without reproach.
No one canceled Dr. Seuss. I really wish y'all would read an article or two on that topic before complaining about him being canceled. And please understand this: we don't give a fuck about a pancake box or package of rice. We didn't ask for that shit either. Doesn't matter how many product packaging is changed, the real problems are STILL not being addressed.
No one voted to cancel Dr Seus. The people in charge of his work decided on their own that they were gonna pull certain parts of his work off shelves. But there was no movement to cancel him. They did this on their own.
How about actually research the shit you’re rambling about?
After a bunch of people on the internet screamed and whined about him being a racist. Like they did for every thing else that was canceled.
No one whined or screamed about it. They literally did this on their own without anyone complaining. Cite your sources because you’re talking out of your ass.
Yeah, your oblivious to reality. We have had mulitple things and people canceled by the left and your going to argue regardless of evidence that it doesn't happen. I mean lest go with that no one ever criticised dr. suess (you know like htey have done with their claims that heavy metal music is racist (its not), that actors and comedians are all racist (which they are not but the mob says anyway), etc. etc. etc., lets say that what your saying is 100% fact. Why did they cancel it then? Because the angry hate mob of intolerant leftist are trying to claim literally everything is racist because they get off on the control, so a company preemptying it would still be due to the far left canceling everything. You don't get to divest yourself of this, if your part of the hate mob, your the reason why things get canceled, period. their is no excuse, the far left are authoritarian psychopaths who just want to destroy (probably because they are incappable of creating), so yes they did cancel him.
@hellionthesagereborn still being a weirdo I see. These king ass paragraphs you write change nothing. No one asks for him to be canceled.
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace Yeah, still not correct. When you scream that every one and everything is racist and they should be canceled and removed from society, you don't get to then turn around and say its not your fault some one got canceled for percieved racism. Just own your shit, this is the world people like you fought tooth and nail for and now your getting it, you should be celebrating because your so effective your getting people to do what ever you want, not acting like you didn't fight for this.
@hellionthesagereborn I'm not reading all that nonsense. You've been spewing the same shit for years lmao. I'd take you more seriously if you didn't only come around to bash any other race besides white. But you don't. So save it for your little QAnon group bud. Cuz I couldn't care less.
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace I've never bashed another race though? When have I ever done that? See their you go again, far leftist call every one racist even when its not applicable because they have no arguments.

No-no-no-no- oh, no-no-no-oh
We like Dora, we won't cancel her
CANCEL CULTURE NO TE LA LLEVES!!!
No one cancelled Dr. Seuss his own foundation decided, on their own, to stop selling a couple of his books that portrayed racial minorities in a negative light.
Who gives a shit about Aunt Jemima or some Dr suess books that never get read? Green eggs and ham will still be published. Syrup companies will make profit. And a little black girl won’t get offended shopping in a grocery store anymore.
Cancel the blind bitch!
Yeah, she's racist, sure, sure...
[Mumbling quietly]
"fucking bitch, it literally right besides you, you ain't blind, bitch, stop mocking with us..."
It’s absolutely ridiculous what about the Grinch that stole Christmas are they going to cancel that to that was by Dr. Seuss?
We don't have to "cancel" a darn thing. People just have to learn how to THINK again!
Yes because of her grumpy old troll under the bridge references
Probably the most damning reference is her quest for the gooey geyser
When people have life too easy, they make up struggles.
What are they saying about Dora?
Nothing yet but considering how they're now coming after Speedy Gonzalez AGAIN (even after failing their first attempt at canceling him in the past), I just know damn well that they'll probably come after Dora next.
Bruhhh.
What about the Smurfs?
Naw we'll just deport her.
I like Dora
What do you like about her?
