It depends entirely on the outcome. Russia needs to get the fuck out of Ukraine, including Crimea. Anything else is not acceptable. And even if Russia does do that (which they won't), it depends on what they got in return. And the rest of Europe would also have to go along with it.
I don't know if Trump has enough bargaining chips to do that, and Ukraine sure as hell doesn't.
I doubt he can do that, not because I don´t want him to. But look at what happened after the ultimatum Trump gave Putin to end the war. It ended last Friday and nothing happened as Putin didn't change his plans. I haven´t heard about new sanctions or a threat that actually hurts Putin and makes him want to end the war. Putin isn´t afraid of Trump.
You mean answer the question. The Democrats will interpret the situation their way. No matter what Trump achieves they´ll never call a success well knowing that Trump wouldn´t do that for them.

At the end of the day, Ukraine‘s Russians don’t really want to be part of Ukraine, so there will be continuing problems in the region. Ukraine would do well to keep Russia from grabbing any more land because lots of their mineral deposits are near the areas controlled by Russia or in them.
The best bargaining chip the US has is the possibility of precluding any NATO expansion to Ukraine.
As long as the fighting stops and America doesn't have to keep finding it forever. I think we spent about $7 trillion on the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. For that kind of money we could have bought every homeless person in America a mansion in Beverly hills.
If he can end the war, considering how he continues to fail at ending wars, I doubt he will. He and Putin will probably agree on something that is unreasonable to Zelinskyy (like givenf Putin the parts of Ukraine he has forces in). Then bitch and moan about Zelinskyy not accepting a good deal for peace.
If he actually ended the war, probably. He's tried and failed multiple times. He's also failed in Gaza. His biggest effect on wars this term js almost starting another one. I guess it's a good thing he failed to actually start that war.
I'm saying that Trump has promised to end both wars, even before he was on office after being elected. That didn't happen and hasn't yet. You can understand why I doubt he will. Biden didn't promise to end any war although he did promise to negotiate for the release of the hostages, which worked reasonably well. Unlike Trump he probably knew that both sides have to agree to something, and that wouldn't happrj.
