1 yI'm pretty conservative in my political leanings and I don't understand how any conservative can support him. He was bragging today about how much money the tariffs brought in last month. As we all know by now, tariffs are taxes and raising taxes on business isn't a position the right usually takes. Government spending was up 20% last month compared to July 2024 and tax and spend is typically a liberal position. So much for DOGE. Taking a portion of AMD and Nvidia's profits when they sell to China is the opposite of free market capitalism along with threatening businesses he doesn't like with higher tariffs or restricting business through executive order. Presidents shouldn't be creating an oligarchy in a free market representative democracy. His Sovereign Wealth Fund is flat out socialism. Even if you overlook the Epstein stuff, Trump is literally Pelosi economically.

1 yThis is an asinine poll. #1 you can't "VOTE FOR TRUMP" again. He's in his 2nd presidential term. The question in the survey conflates Trump with the republican party
If Donald Trump was officially implicated in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking activities, would this make you more likely to vote for another
party, or would it not affect your vote for Donald Trump?Really can't believe the Canadian polling company is this stupid unless... of course... they're trying to build a narrative.

Point proven. TY
@DrPepper12 you’re correct. My point was proven correct.
412 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Of course - that's how things works in a highly polarized nation with a two-party political system. Likewise, if the only alternative is Trump, most Democrats would still vote for the democrat candidate, no matter what they had done. It's just the lesser of two evils - let's say Trump abused 100 young girls; that's still not as bad as allowing many thousands of babies to be murdered, which is how many Republicans view abortion.

False equivalency to the highest degree. Just because someone believes something or views something in a certain way doesn’t mean that it’s a valid comparison. If someone would choose to vote for someone who molested 100 children over someone who supports a woman’s right to control what grows in her body then they are objectively just as sick and evil as the child molester.
- 1 y
@SmokinAces2000 But that's just _your_ belief / view. I'm pro choice, but the fact remains that if you believe life begins at conception, then abortion absolutely IS mass murder. You might not believe that yourself, but their logic is not flawed.
This is exactly what I mean about the extreme polarization - you're incapable of looking at an issue objectively, and just immediately dismiss any views you don't agree with. - 1 y
I don’t care if another person thinks abortion is murder. That’s still not a valid reason to vote for a pedo.
- 1 y
@SmokinAces2000 “just because someone believes something or views something in a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s valid.” LMAO. And they don’t care who you think is a pedo. See how that works? You’re using your own argument against yourself 😂 man you are good at embarrassing yourself kiddo
- 1 y
Notice how I never actually called anyone a pedo. You sure are coming to the defense of a hypothetical person who votes for someone who molests 100 kids. Are you okay?
- 1 y
@SmokinAces2000 It's a two party system - you can vote for the mass murderer / against the pedo (whichever way you want to look at it), or you can vote for the pedo / against the mass murderer (again, whichever way you want to look at it). Those are your two options. Not voting, or voting for a third-party candidate who can't win, would suggest that you don't particularly mind whether the president is a pedo or a mass murderer, and are equally happy either way.
- 1 y
@SmokinAces2000 “That’s still not a valid reason to vote for a pedo.” Do you brain damage buddy? Seriously
- 1 y
@MuddyMole like I said, it doesn’t matter what someone thinks. If I’m a vegetarian and I think anyone who eats meat is evil and a murderer and I vote for a candidate that’s a pedo but also a vegetarian over a candidate that’s a meat eater who believes that people should be able to eat meat then I am a horrible person. Someone could come up with any bullshit excuse they want but that doesn’t change the fact that they are voting for and supporting a pedo.
- 1 y
@Kingofkings1992 I’m not sure if you are capable of understanding hypothetical situations but the original guy posed a hypothetical and I’ve been responding based off of it so I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.
- 1 y
@SmokinAces2000 you are clearly incapable of understanding the own words that come out of your mouth lol
- 1 y
I’m not the one that can’t use context clues to know when people are talking hypothetically.
- 1 y
@SmokinAces2000 You mean it doesn't matter what *someone else* thinks. To everybody else, you are are just "someone", and it doesn't matter what *you* think. Again, you're only saying that because to you, eating meat is not murder. That's your belief. Other people believe just as strongly as you believe that, that abortion is murder. It is not "some bullshit excuse" - it is what they believe, and they are no less justified in believing that.
- 1 y
@MuddyMole don’t waste your time with him. The kid is an idiot
- 1 y
@MuddyMole so you believe that every viewpoint and opinion is equally valid?
- 1 y
@Kingofkings1992 😂 you of all people shouldn’t be talking.
- 1 y
@SmokinAces2000 anything that assesses your level of intelligence against mine I would absolutely dismantle you. 😂
- 11 mo
@SmokinAces2000 I don't imagine anyone really cares whether I deem their viewpoint / opinion valid or not. I do think that everybody should vote according to their own viewpoint / opinion though, if that's what you mean? That seems like a pretty fundamental aspect of democracy.
- 11 mo
@Kingofkings1992 Lmao. You lack basic critical thinking skills.
- 11 mo
@MuddyMole clearly no one can stop someone from voting. My argument was that just because someone has a belief in something doesn’t make their choices valid.
- 11 mo
@SmokinAces2000 lmao. Sure thing pal. Explain to me what critical thinking is to you? I can’t wait to hear this
- 11 mo
@SmokinAces2000 you are the total opposite of critical thinking. You just blindly follow anything that you’re told to believe 😂
- 11 mo
@MuddyMole he uses his own argument against himself. He doesn’t the self awareness to even realize it
- 11 mo
Critical thinking is the ability to process information and evidence and come to logical conclusions which is something that I don’t think I’ve ever seen you do. Name something that I blindly follow.
- 11 mo
@SmokinAces2000 I know what the google definition is. Of course, I can’t expect something to be put into your own words. You think literally anyone who holds different beliefs than you isn’t able to come to logical conclusions, so that doesn’t mean much anything. Name something that you blindly follow? 😂 that’s your whole thought process. I can’t help it that you’re unable to see your own bias. There’s not much I can do about that buddy
- 11 mo
@Kingofkings1992 That’s literally just what critical thinking is and that’s not even the google definition so what the hell are you talking about? And you’ve commented under my posts plenty of times so surely you have at least one example of me just blindly following something.
- 11 mo
@SmokinAces2000 I see you don’t know where to appropriately use the word “literally.” No surprise there. That is the google definition dumbass. Open your eyes and maybe you will see your blind following. I actually really don’t even care about substantiating anything to you because I don’t attach any importance to what you think 🤷♂️
- 11 mo
It’s not the google definition lmao. If you search up critical thinking does what I put come up? You can’t give a single example of me blindly following shit. I’m torn between you being a troll or just a complete fucking idiot.
- 11 mo
@SmokinAces2000 feel free to look in the mirror if you wanna see one of those
- 11 mo
Yeah okay 😂

1 yI believe it is attributable to a lack of that particular organ. There can be no opinion that Trump Jas any idea about ecomomy. He's put far ! ore people out of work than he's created. He did have a sparsely attended parade which all tyrants love. Since he's failed abysmally on every front as well as being a laughing stock internationally the only bindiIng reasons is simply hate. As long as fingers can be pointed at illegal aliens or Joe Biden they have reason to remain united.

1 yI tell you, these "Trump is the devil" angles will just never go away.
I think the Dems attempts to get rid of him would have covered this if true.
They have been trying tp smear him for 9 years.
00 Reply 8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. They know he’s not. But Democrats have no policies they want to talk about, so we get absolute nonsense like this from them.
02 Reply3.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. If they would still vote for him despite all the fucked-up things he is doing to the country, why would a simple sex crime scandal change their opinions?

@DrPepper12 he’s too far gone. Trump could start going around shooting people and he would still be on here defending him like he’s his number 1 fan.
- 1 y
@DrPepper12 One democrat can enable a hundred child molesters with their sick policies. Jeffrey Epstein was a democrat and his file is a who's who of democrats.
