Specifically, it asked, "If Donald Trump was officially implicated in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking activities, would this make you more likely to vote for another party, or would it not affect your vote for Donald Trump?" Forty-seven percent of Republican respondents said such a revelation would not affect their vote. The survey did not ask whether respondents personally approved of the president's hypothetical implication in Epstein's crimes.

And before any maga's come in here no i would never have voted for either of the Clintons if they were implicated too (i wasn't old enough to vote for bill and i voted third party in 2016 anyways). 47% is arguably a high number but still its less than half, and seeing the growing number of frustrated americans in republican town hall meetings, is notable to say the least. This honestly is the hope in americans i been hoping for us. I want americans to read be educated and smart about the decisions they make in accordance with the law, this is why i didn't vote for the current trump administration. I do not know how they got their republicans but some of the higher approval ratings are due to survivor's bias.

Basically people who are very upset with the scandal no longer call themselves republicans.

I suspect this rather high number is linked to a similar phenomena. We are excluding the people who cared the most about it.
