I was just revisiting that movie The Player's Club which I grew up watching and now watching it as an adult it has made me question life and society.
like any other movie, series or even books about strip clubs this movie makes the strip club goers appear like nothing but exploiting predators. as a man who's been frequent strip clubs since the age of 18 I find this kinda offensive. I always treated the strippers that service me with respect and actually appreciated their service.
ironically the reason why I always frequent strip clubs is because I myself see women in general (non strippers) as not just exploiting but also manipulating, conniving and deceiving predators themselves.
- I swear that if women in general...
- did not have so much ulterior motives
- were actually clear in what they wanted, and meant it
- did not weaponized dating and sex so much
- do not believe that one night of sex is an instant marriage
- did got get so vindictive when you enforce your boundaries on them
- do not cry rape after one night of drunk sex
and the list goes on.
I would of love to rennounce strip clubs and give dating a chance like every one else. but I still dont understand why men like me who just frequent strip clubs and other sex workers for our peace and safety get labeled as the movie villains when women outside the world of sex work are far more dangerous.
