The majority of leftists are women and men who were raised primarily, if not exclusively by women. So their entire worldview and modus operandi is feminist in nature. Feminist compromise is as follows: “It’s my way or the highway”.
Women have been getting exactly what they want when they want it for so long that when they finally don’t, they confuse it with oppression. They’ve raised boys to become “men” with the exact same mindset.
Now we have the modern left. Ruled entirely by their emotions. Without a lick of impulse to apply reasoning, if they even have any. And resort to full on tantrums when they don’t get their way. Then proceed to wonder why they fail so often and blame whatever convenient “ism” that they can conceive. It’s essentially a party of women and children. What else would you expect from such a conflagration of selfishness and entitlement?

You're not wrong. On every single major issue that really impacts people's lives in a significant way, Democrat policies are supported by the overwhelming majority of Americans - for example: taxing the rich, universal healthcare, gun control, abortion rights, etc.
Democrats should be absolutely destroying the Republicans in every election, but they keep on pursuing these unpopular "woke" policies on issues which almost noone on the left actually cares about or is impacted by, and which only serve to provide ammunition for the GOP, who can keep the focus on these minor issues, and divert attention away from the big issues. I get that they're trying to claim the moral highground, but it's just not worth losing an election over, when the stakes are so high.

I heard something today that was shocking. Hillary said that if Trump finds a perfect way and the war and Ukraine gets all their property back, she will nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace prize. But we all know this is not going to end perfectly and Trump knows that. He just wants the killing to stop and that's it.
