For example, even if you have beauty, intelligence, or discipline, if you’re broke, you still need money to translate those qualities into real opportunities. They don’t accept 'fitness' as rent. Money is the rightful king of resources because it controls many others.

I can't help but agree with you. My dear departed brother left me very well off financially, and I am going to open an endowment with Hoag Hospital, in Newport Beach and donate my entire RMD each year to Hoag Cancer Research, because Jerry died of Cancer.

I am going to upgrade my own home, and help others when I can. I want to spend what he left me in a way that he would approve of.

If people are wise, and they acquire money, it can definitely fix most problems, i. e. if you are ill, it can get you the best health care that is available.
