What do you think of people who believe money will solve their problems?

Money can't buy health or respect or love or security in old age. Cause if you are old and your brain does not work - you need a husband or wife who loves you and not one who wants your money and hopes you die as soon as possible.

Money solves a lot of problems, but certainly not all. It doesn't make you happy, it just takes away things that were making you unhappy - which isn't the same thing

Money actually can solve a lot of problems.

Health - with money you can afford treatment, medicines and live in better, healthier conditions.

Respect - if you are wealthy more people with have respect for you than if you are poor. More people will have a respect for Bill Gates than for random street beggar.

Security in old age - you can hire care takers, nurses, afford medicines, diagnoses and so on. You also have a good place to live. After death you can can afford proper grave and burial.

With money you can buy some things that make you happy, have hobby (play instrument, paint, be writer, play games, scuba dive, etc...), study interesting subjects, travel. With money you can help other people. You can ensure good start for your kids. You are not financial burden to society. If you have a lot of money you can create workplaces for other people, invest, invent, start a foundation/charity.

Money can't buy everything and do not guarantee happiness, but it can actually help you and others a lot and make you and others happy to a certain extent in many ways.

Note, also that for men, money can help in love, because most women don't want to date broke men, since they want him to ensure good conditions for her and offspring.

Money can keep away some problems, but can also create others. If you have money, you are not likely to be homeless. Conversely, having a lot of money can make it less clear if your "friends" are there for you or for what they can get.

money does solve a lot of problems and i'm very happy but i know a lot of people with money and they create a lot of their own unnecessary problems, the way Housewives of Beverly Hills create problems that don't need to be there

I'll have to respectfully disagree. Money can definatly buy health. It can buy food, water, a roof over your head, heat, hygien products, medical care, medicine and so on. It can buy the freedom to travel to meet people all over the world and experience so much.

Having money gives you a lot more freedom and more responcibilities. And that can make you happy but it doesn't need to.
