I believe indulgence is something you should only take if you earned it or it’s rightfully yours. The money you get from a lottery pay out is not yours, because you did not earn it, the money belongs to God and should be spent on needs and not indulgences. You can get a degree or build a house, but you would be mocking God if you spent the money on a trip to Las Vegas because it’s not your money, you did not earn it, it belongs to God and it belongs to all the losers who bought tickets so you could claim your prize. The bible teaches that if you are mature, having extra money, will not even increase your happiness and research says, money does not boost your happiness once you gain the things you need. Mohamed Bin S has over a billion dollars and he suffers from an extreme anxiety disorder that makes him abuse his inner circle and makes all who know him, dislike him.
No I think its just random luck.

I would donate to churches, Goodwill, some trustworthy medical charities some Indian reservations and animal preserves and re-breeders. I wouldn't buy lots of things I'll outlive accept maybe a Bentley Flying Spur, not even a new one. And a 60's Aston Martin DBS (guess why) Maybe homes in florida and the Philippines. Not really weird.
I don’t know. My aunt lives very close to a major winner in Dearborn Missouri. He bought tons of land and built a lot of things for the little town.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with spending it on indulgences as long as it’s not something that would be sinful.
How they spend their money is up to them. But I agree to be smart with it and make investments.
