I believe God is circumscribed as male in dialogue because the bible says the masculine identity is the default identity and the female identity was created as a beautiful diversion from the default masculine condition so that the male would have an opposite support and mutual person to live with. Of course God is not a biologically accessible figure in the aesthetic or physical realm, because God is spiritual with no anatomical features assigned to his personality. He is the catalyst of life and not the physical appendage of life.

Since 'God' is both prime-moving and immortal and needs not replicate God-self... it would reason that 'God' has no need of 'gender' but Creation espouses that GOD embodies BOTH element's characteristics. The Hebrew epithet: 'YHVH' = "I AM ALL THAT IS"
The phenomena of 'gender' in addition to that of species, affords the potential for varying recombination of capacities & sub-deitific permutation interactions. The resulting experiences give rise to successful 'commandments' of potential interaction: "Wisdom in return for the pain" Maximum 'gain' in return for efforts and resources expended. 'Entropy'= the 'law' of diminishing return for effort and resources expended.
"Man" and "woman" are just how we evolved; that doesn't really apply to God. If the "created in His image" thing referred to physical appearance, then God would naturally be pretty freaky looking, given the incredible variations in look we see in humanity.
Like Morgan Freeman said in Prince of Thieves, "Allah loves wondrous variety".
God is impersonal. I personally choose to think of the universe as God. The universe is amoral and impersonal therefore I say God is. However it is entirely possible God made the universe but isn't the universe. It is also possible that I'm right and God is the universe.

If your "god" has a form that takes of space, clearly something else created it... For space and time to be created, God must be formless and not bound by physical space or time. That said, for you to know God, God would have to appear to you as something familiar to make himself known and communicate in a human way, so that humans understand God's existence and expectations. In Torah/Bible The Voice of God (i. e. Jesus) appears as a man.
God is thought of as being male as God made man first, and then woman when he saw Adam needed a helper. Also, Jesus refers to God as his father, not his mother.
''Man'' or ''woman'' is just for our own orientation; caused by our own intellectual limitations.
Anyhow - in this respect, God appears to have more male traits than female traits when we compare it to our own existence.
God is beyond gender, in summary God is nonbinary. I can’t imagine God would care what you call them if only bc they are not human, they wouldn’t be bound to those same self-made rules
in the jew bible the hebrew has both pronouns "you male" and "you female" i interpret that was intended to show god was a spirit not a male.
A fictional creation designed by those in power to subdue and control mentally inferior people. Have said this outloud enough times I should have been subjected to at least 1 smiting. Guess not
Although God is not biologically male or female, God refers to himself to us through the Bible in masculine terms which is simply the way God has chosen to reveal himself to us.
I certainly do not believe that God is a man or a woman. Why would God, who created men and women, be a human?
Does not exist, if they did then it would have to be as a woman, the number of people that would be triggered 🤣🤣🤣🤣
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.. God is a spirit neither man or woman, but choices to use male pronouns to describe himself..
I don't believe that's an important enough question to worry about.
Don't be assuming god's gender in 2024 that's rude.
According to the movie Dogma, God is a woman (played by Alanis Morissette).
There are male gods and female gods, depends on what religion you follow.
God cannot be either as God is not a biological entity.
Try to keep up, kiddo.
Like Alanis Morisette, I don't think she's really anything. Just a pure omnipotent being of love.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/2bZRPrmTy5oKarma says she's a woman and so does Ariana and there's NO FUCKING Way I'm gonna bet against those two!!
There's nothing to believe or have an opinion on. The Bible, the Tanakh, the Torah and all the Scriptures are abundantly clear about the identity of *the Father*.
God created men and women, so it's a nonsensical question
Who knows? (Maybe he's a handsome black 70-year-old Canadian/American cowboy !!!)
