Are you those people who really can't live without being on the beach?

Like when you have time off or vacations, you immediately think: "BEACH BEACH NOW" and follow the heard in crowds to go straight to the beach. Or you are those people who instead try to avoid at all cost going to the beach and rather find other places to unwind to avoid crowds so your time off is more relaxed and peaceful without the hassle and stress of crowded beaches and also the stress of crowded highways due to "everyone" is going to the beach too. Or you do like the beach but you go when there are not crowds like in other month of the year not the months where the whole country is going, LOL!!!

I like beach and even I dont go often cause I can't afford to vacation that much in a year but i rather go when there are not crowds and everyone is there but I rather go to the mountains and other more peaceful places, beause the way you see it going to the beach is not going to a peaceful place, to relax. You can't relax at the beach if the beach is crowded, lots of noise and the beach hotels full and people everywhere.

One example is what is happening in my country now. Since we are in Easter week, most people in my city are on vacations so the 1st thing most of the country think when they have vacations is BEACH and nothing else. So since everyone is thinking the same thing, the highways are full of cars and there are gridlocks so many citizens complain how come there are gridlocks, cause you waste gasoline, time and money with your car. Hello? Well everyone is going at the same time duh!!! I know many people believe being at the beach is relaxing stuff just seeing the ocean and hear the ocean sounds can be soothing but if you are in a crowded beach you can't do that at all!!!

I have several acquaitances taht can't live without going to the beach, They always think beach beach they need the beach and when they have time off they only go to the beach they dont explore and discover other places in the country,

I know it is nice to have a good tan but many people go just for the tan and hav a good color, regardless of the skin cancer and all the bad things sun can give the skin. They dont care about wrinkles, dry skin they onlky care for the tan effect of the beach.

Now that many here in my city are on vacations. Most of the people I know 90% are at the beaches, sunbathing, posting selfies at the beach, taking hundreds of beach phtoos to post it on social media. They do what the herd does.

I love the mountains and also the ocean. I find the beach to be nice every once in a while. I actually live on the ocean side town in my yacht so I can go to the beach whenever I like, which is about once or twice a month. I would turn around if it was ever like that picture, I don't like that at all. Well, maybe just to see if there are any beautiful women to flirt with, but otherwise it's totally a turn of to me. I like a beach just to myself or a few people is okay but no one is better.

I also don't like the exposure of the beach. Too much sun and wind too constantly. I will stay an hour or two at most. I don't want to get burned and don't care about tanning. I feel too exposed and would prefer the mountains for this relaxing under a tree in some shade. Or getting sun but also having a place with shade to go to change it up. I love to be by a river or lake, as long as the mosquitos are not too bad.

I also love the mountains, to be alone and just relax in nature. To be out on the water with no one around.

Don't get me wrong, I love people and socializing, but not those crowds.

Omg I’m in Cali and I cannot begin to even explain just how much I hate the beach lol
The sand getting on me is just icky af to me not it’s about just not knowing what the fuck is in the sand and when I get into the water and step on that sea ground, oh hell no lol it’s fun but my anxiety is still all high cuz I’m like fuck did I just step on an animal? Poisonous animal maybe? Lol;just no worse feeling ever.
Also sea water getting in my mouth is fucking disgusting.
The main thing though also is as a child I had to go to the beach a lot and it wasn’t because it was for fun family beach time even though that’s all we had to stay at the beach and do “have fun” while my dad was doing business out by the beach so I was there everyday almost immediately after I got out of school and was always getting back around 12 pm and eventually it would just get so cold and if I forgot a sweater that day, I was fucked and what was worse is not only would it be cold at the beach but my dad loved to turned up the AC as high as it could go so I would just have to be at a cold ass beach at night and than hop into a cold ass car.
So now as an adult I just hate the beach and will avoid it if I can cuz it’s just like putting myself in that annoying time and place in my life Again.

When I travel I usually going when it’s either less crowded I. e. never spring break or peak seasons I have a beach near me but it’s not nearly as good as the ocean, it also depends when vacation time is available at work.

Nope, not a fan of beaches, or heat in general, or hanging around doing nothing.

Zoo? Sure.
Arcade? You betcha.
Shopping at the Mall? Ok.
Natural history museum? Yup.
Toy/Comic/Video game shops? Definitely.
Restaurants with massive or all you can eat portions for cheap? You have my interest.
Library? Yeah, but only to find reference books I wanna buy later.

But beaches, bars, clubs, fancy "5 star" restaurants, concerts, and other boring places are a hard pass from me.

Fancy ones yes, only interesting thing about eateries is the food, if it's small portions, gross tasting, or expensive, then its a lame experience, 5 star ones are usually all 3.

As for concerts, they are too loud, people often yell and thus distort the music, so now it's loud AND sounds like crap, plus you just sit or stand there doing nothing, I dunno how anyone thinks thats fun.

if it is a concert of your favorite group or artist I dont think it be boring for the person. Resturaunts with massive or all you can eat portions? Not for me. It is gross how many people serve like mountains of food like it is the last day on earth. It looks sloopy and most restaurants like that mostly customers are people overweight people, taking advantage of precisely that kind of system of ALL you can eat for a cheap price.

Toy comic video game shops. Maybe because im a woman and I found those thinbgs only for kids not for adult people and for me those are borrring.

I find dancing to be boring, and my $100 headset/mic has better audio quality, and I can listen to as many songs as a want, in whatever order I want, and in whatever style (original/remixes. etc) I want, all from the comfort of my home with no one screaming in my ear, all while I'm playing my favorite video games and hanging out with friends in party chat where I can adjust the volume levels for all 3 of those independantly. :)

My metabolism is very high, I can eat like Shaggy (Scooby Doo) or Goku (Dragon Ball Z), and not get fat, I only gain weight when I eat less/fast, because it makes my body go into fat storage mode, and then I have to eat like a black hole again to get myself back out of it.

It honestly isn't because you are a woman that you don't like toys/comics/video games, It's actually because you were born before 1983 or were simply never a nerd to begin with. People born during or after nerds got destigmatized, kept their interests as adults, instead of seeing them as life stage sort of things like prior generations did.

Video games are my life, they are art, music, story, mental and dexterity based challenge, a way to time travel, role play, break the laws of physics, travel across the universe, or laugh so hard I cry.

Toys are gorgeous decorations, especially with neon light shelving, and they inspire creativity (as do video games)

Comics/manga/visual novels/webcomics/cartoons/anime, tend to have the same effect and are usually much better stories than most movies or live action tv shows in my opinion, usually because of how much longer they are, so the writers have way more time to flesh out characters and have interesting things happen.

I should probably also mention that in places like zoos or natural history museums, I'm not sitting there or walking around doing nothing. I'm sitting on a bench with my sketch pad or tablet, drawing what
I see.

I'm not a big fan of the beach. Like you said it can get very crowded and I personally hate large crowds. And if you plan to go to the water you need to bring someone with you to look after your stuff.

I have read that there are some people that would steal other people's belongings if they were just left laying around. And then you also have kids running around acting crazy.

And then you're going to get sand everywhere. If you're using a towel on the sand and wearing sandals you're going to get some sand in your car. It's not a big deal but just a little annoying.

So yeah not a big fan of going to the beach. And I've seen some people go to the beach just to sun bathe. I don't really understand that at all... Can't you just do that in your backyard?

Not a fan of packed beaches even long before covid. But I do love the beach and comming from s seaside town I grew up by one.

Though I prefer a quiet one with a few people or even nobody as floating around in water just gives me inspiration for all kinds of things corny as it may sound

Where I live, the beaches are really nice about 3 or 4 months out of the year. But I never heard anyone comment on them being closed last summer... maybe they weren't, I don't know. But half the people I talk to were pissed the Gratiot Cruise, Woodward Cruise, and classic car get-togethers were all off last summer. It's one of the unique things about the metro Detroit area; all summer is car show season, and you see people daily driving 50 year old restored classics every day that it's nice out.

I like it all year round. In the winter it is so quiet and it lets me think and reflect on life. I took a nice walk on the beach Monday. There was one other person walking his dog. I sat on the seawall for about a half hour drinking a can of Coke. When I left I felt a lot better.

Honestly I hate the beach just too many people, possibility of getting sun burn, sand gets in your shoes and clothes, and I had a big muscle bound guy hit on my girl and completely ignore me. Luckily she knee him in his family jewls when he got handsy.

You know that I live within a 2 hour drive from the beach and I have no desire to travel to any place where there are crowded anything. I know that we have been restricted from doing this for well over a year and I too want to go to the beach. But I want to go when it is safe to do it. And I am COVID-19 vaccinated for almost a month and I still don't feel safe in large crowds.

I hate the beach unless it's a 'postcard beach' with the white sand, hammock and coconut drink. I lived about 15 minute drive from the coast as a kid but England's beaches are not particularly nice looking, murky brown water and stony beaches

I use SPF 100 so I do not burn or tan. Also I only go to the Caribbean in off season when it is not busy!

I haven't gone to the beach since maybe 6 years ago. I could live without the beach as it gets packed during summer and the holidays.

Indeed even if the beach is nice going on vacation time it can be stressful and hectic. Now in my country we are on Easter week so most people have all the week off and most of the population are at the beach now, forgeting is pandemic time as well, and people I know all of them post and post pictures of them at the beach on social media.
