Nope, most women hate other women. As a result they rarely take other women's positions. In the moment they generally stay quiet because they don't want to offend anyone and then later on they are shaking their head like that bitch is crazy when they are talking to men the know in private. You often see it in society's attitude towards cheating. A man cheating is seen as a disloyal dog who uses women to get what he wants, and this is mostly true but for women there is always a justification for cheating that makes it ok, either lies or excuses.

You see this attitude in movies and tv shows a lot.
A good example is an uncle of mine, who was deployed to Iraq for a tour and his wife had left him for another man a week after he went. She kept up the facade for his entire tour so she could pocket his wages.

While I can't speak to whether that statistic is accurate, there is at least some truth to it. Generally speaking, the male instinct to protect and the female drive for social consensus (protection) would suggest human beings would show some form of bias in favor of the distribution you describe.
