How do you identify your race: White or Caucasian?

I am a real Caucasian from the Caucasus. I was wondering why Western people call themselves Caucasian. I researched it and learned, but now I want to ask you directly: how do you prefer to identify your race? White or Caucasian?

Some of you replied "Human" or "I'm human." What bullshit! Did I ever imply you were an animal or anything other than human when I asked the question? Try to be a bit more logical!

White and black are such stupid descriptions. Nobody is actually white or black. Some Europeans are quite pale and some are brown. And Africans come in different shades, too.
African or European would be better descriptions. And people from other parts of the world come in different shades.

But if we are using common terms, I'm white because I am of mostly Irish ancestry with some bits of English, Scottish, Welsh and northwestern European.

None of my ancestry came from the Caucuses and I think the idea that all Europeans originated in the Caucuses is erroneous.

By the way, Caucasian race divides in Indo-Aryan, Semitic, and Hamitic, each has varieties, lighter and darker (depends on climate and other factors).

Caucasian is used by Americans like Hispanic for Mexicans while Hispania is old Roman name for Spain.
On the other hand haplogroups tests show that majority around 95% of Europeans have their roots in central Asian steppes, what includes Caucasus region. Hunter gatherer who inhabited Europe before Yamnaya expansion were small population which caused just a small shift in modern European DNA.
I think as Americans started to use the term Caucasian in 18th century they didn't know much about European roots as we know today and this term was just blind luck.

They used to use a different term but it's now Politically Incorrect they used to call us Aryan, but now they call us Indo-European that includes Iran too they're not Arabs they're actually one of us believe it or not. When I talk to people I like to know their origin. If they are mixed Germany/irish or mixed Italian /french or if they are Polish or Uzbek and Indian or Russian Jews or Argentinian Jews.
