Are we supposed to believe that leftists would have gloated just as much about her death if more questions were asked about it unlike right wingers who probably sympathized just as much as they do with Kirk’s family?

Right wingers definitely didn’t sympathize for Hortman. But they didn’t exactly celebrate either. That’s enough to set the morality scale on political violence, in my opinion.
Well before we got here there was plenty of inhumane rhetoric going back and forth. Conservatives jabbing at the leftists who lost their homes in California wildfires as they begged Drumpf to help because Newsome failed completely to do anything.
Then leftists cheering for all those deaths, including dozens of children, in the floods in Texas. How they figure that’s equivalent is beyond me. I’m just pointing out that the right isn’t blameless. Everyone would benefit if both sides practiced more empathy.

I care equally little about both. Any interest I have of Charlie Kirk is only ever in relations to how upset it makes the right wing to talk about him. I did not care about him when he was alive outside of a vague memory of him being a fascist scumbag and I care even less about him after he is rotting in the ground.
