Is USA or Russia worse at planting evidence for political purposes?

So, following the recent shooting where a suspect shot and killed multiple detainees at an ICE facility and the hilarious picture that the FBI inexplicably shared, I have to ask.. Why are these people so bad at planting evidence?

Russia:

Putin: "- and make sure to include three SIM cards in the picture."

FSB agent intern: "Da! I will not forget!" *googles what SIM is*

USA:

Kash Patel: "- do you have a sharpie?"

FBI agent intern: "Yes, sir!"

Kash Patel: "Could you write something anti-ICE on one of the bullets and take a picture?"

FBI agent intern: "Yes, sir!" *no idea what people who hates ICE says and is too lazy to google*

Yeah, this one is weird as fuck. Saw a news spot, eyewitness said he saw the kid specifically targeting people, only hit detainees, we get shown “anti-ICE” scrawled in a sharpie, not etched like most people do, on the casings? And I’m supposed to believe he was just a terrible shot, on three attempts?

Like even if I bought that, if he hit a detainee the FIRST time, wouldn’t he be like “oh shit…. better just target officers who aren’t near a detainee?” He would never in a million years aim for an Officer, shoot a detainee, try again, fail again and hit a detainee, and then go back for thirds?

One bad shot, I could totally buy it. Two bad shots, I’m skeptical. THREE bad shots? Do better. That’s a piss poor explanation of what happened.

I heard another report saying he fired into a transport vehicle. Again…. Officers in front, detainees in the back. Stevie Wonder might not even clip the back by accident if he was aiming for the front.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist at all; it’s one of the main reasons I think MAGA is dumb as fuck, conspiracy theories up the wazoo. But this and the Kirk shooting…. something feels off. And this isn’t to eschew responsibility. The shooter is the only villain, not the ideology they might subscribe to en masse. If he’s MAGA, it doesn’t mean “ALL MAGA”, if he’s liberal, it doesn’t mean “ALL liberals.”

Like right there, that mentality alone is dumb as fuck. We’re in a hopeless spot if we’re just going to keep an ideology scoreboard for the craziest people our country has to offer, from whichever side of the aisle.

I could have told you that something was up with the ICE shooting without any of the context from the actual shooting itself? Why? Because it is fucking weird that the director of the FBI completely unprompted share evidence from a crime scene that just happened which appears to have a political message. Likewise how they are talking about this is just not how the FBI or law enforcement usually works.

Competence aside for a moment, there looks to be a lot more effort put in on the Russian side.. relatively speaking that is.

Some examples? Sure.
Vance Luther Boelter murdered Melissa Hortman and her husband as well as shot John Hoffman and his wife but they survived. The killer had a list of around 70 names of Democrats and left leaning advocates.

We also have the two people who tried to kill Trump. Ryan Wesley Routh who literally voted for Trump and Thomas Matthew Crooks who is a registered Republican voter and regularly posted anti-immigration and antisemitic trash online.

Just to name a few.

You are likely correct about Boelter, although his politics and motive are still unclear.

Routh did vote for Trump in 2016, but subsequently turned against Trump and became a radicalized leftist. He hated Trump, and that's why he tried to kill him.

Crooks was also a registered republican but his political views and motive are still very unclear. He also donated to leftist charities.

But none of this changes the fact that the hate on the left today is out of control. You are a shining example of that day in and day out on GAG. If Kirk had been a black man with leftist views, the aftermath of his assassination would have been just like the aftermath of Floyd's death. There would still be violent riots happening across the country, cities would still be burning weeks later, and there would have already been many deaths and injuries to law enforcement who were just trying to keep the peace. There has been none of that since Kirk's murder. The only violence has been from leftists protesting the celebration of Kirk's life around the globe. Oh, and shooting up ICE facilities.

So you think Routh turned against Trump and became a "radical leftist", eh? On what basis? Also, I have always been of the belief that the most likely person to murder Trump would be one of his own supporters, either current support or someone who became disillusioned with him. The fact that Routh voted for Trump is not at all a surprise to me and quite frankly should be expected.

As for Crooks, what we do have of his beliefs lines up the closest with right wing ideology such as anti-immigration so even if you want to ignore his party registration its still quite damning.

And no, nobody would care if the "black lefty Charlie Kirk" died.

As for the recent Michigan church shooting? Last I heard it was done by a 40 year old marine veteran with multiple flags on his car and pictures on his social media of him posing with hunted animals. Say what you want but as things stand currently he does not sound like a leftist to me.
