No I don´t see a reason why they should invest in attack on a public concert. What´s the point? The US has never used that in the past. Sure they are an enemy of Russia but there is no reason for them to do that. ISIS has other financial investors like Qatar that have not only more money but also a religious connection.

The funny thing about this "question" is that the US had intelligence that something like this might happened and they warned Russia about it two weeks before the attack. They even advised it might be a concert venue and suggested they should keep people out of large gatherings. Do you know why the US warned Russia but ISIS didn't? Think about it.
