Things during this administration are not safe at all for obvious reasons. However, I need to point out to you that even before this administration things were not safe. This is a really angry country with a lot of violence in people who will injure or kill you with. Not much provocation. Things here have never been great and they still are a problem even in blue areas. Between our crappy economic system and our lack of healthcare, people feel the deprivation and they take it out on each other. If I were you my friend I would never come there again. I wish I didn't live here now. I've wished that for a long time and for quite a while didn't live here. I'm sorry I ever came back.
