I mean, you're on the street, on a bench, whatever, a stranger approaches you and you start chatting, etc.

Personally, I don't like that. Even if it's nice, we don't know each other, so you stay on your side and I'll stay on mine, we don't need to start a conversation, we don't know each other.

It's pretty normal where I live. I really don't understand why so many people don't like it. That just seems really cold.

It's not unusual for me to talk to a complete stranger for a half hour or more. It's not an everyday thing, but it happens. Why is something wrong with that? I think it's very strange that someone would have a problem with it. If they don't wanna talk, that's fine. But if they do, so what?
