Should Congress accept Jack Smith's offer of publicly testifying about his investigation into Trump's J6 & document tetention?

BREAKING: Jack Smith calls Donald Trump's bluff and urges Congress and the Justice Department to let him testify publicly "in open hearings" to set the record straight.

In a new letter sent to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, Smith asked for the public hearings so that he can dispel the "many mischaracterizations" that are now swirling around his investigations into Trump's mishandling of classified records and efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Those investigations led to criminal charges but were ultimately dismissed by a Trump-appointed judge.

Smith's attorneys told the Republican committee leaders that he will need DOJ assurances that he "will not be punished" for testifying since some of the details of his investigations are technically still sealed or protected under grand jury secrecy rules.

Donald Trump and Republicans have relentlessly attacked Jack Smith, but he has steadfastly defended his investigations.

Yes! PUBLICLY! Let's hear what he has to say! Truth never hurts!!
No! He a partisan hack. Trump's immune & it's OVER. Cry harder.
