How many times do you tolerate a cell phone company lying to you before you go with another company?

Not just how much but how big are the lies. A cell phone is a necessary evil in this world. If I could get away with it I would just not even have one. One less monthly bill. But let's be honest they're all the same playing the same games with their customers. I have the company I do because it's the most competitively priced. But you never actually pay the price you're quoted with any of them.

Damn Sam. I don't know how you contract for communication services but I pay exactly what I contracted for every month. To the penny. And I have zero complaints about the service. I also buy unlocked phones and bring my own phone to the party. No "free phones" that tie me to a long term contract. And I keep a phone until it dies or it has been unsupported for so long it's no longer usable.

I bought a new cell phone at WalMart and I was going to use the carrier that they sell. It was a lot cheaper. They tole me it would be no problem transferring my phone number to the new carrier. i wasted a whole afternoon at WalMart while the sales guy tried to get me hooked up. Finally I had to cancel the whole thing which took over another hour to get the charge removed from my credit card. I stopped at Verizon on the way home and got my new phone and it took me about 20 minutes.

Yeah. I considered Mint mobile or Tello because it's cheaper but I wanted to remain with US cellular because I like being able to take it to a brick and mortar place. But half the time they just refer me to customer service anyways. And them and customer service say two different things. I feel like kid carrying messages back between mom and dad.😆 it's aggravating.
