My SAT score was 1360, 95th percentile. Not outstanding but decent. No prep, no tutor, no coaching, only took it once, cold. All my friends were in that range.

That test is so dumb. I took it for fun when I knew I was going into community college because I was curious what someone with a 140 iq score would get without studying for it.

I think I got a similar score and then when I took the placement test in college I got into honors English. That sat test is designed to make you a corperate sheep who will never know their own worth.

No, it's designed to help admissions staff at higher education institutions sift through about 2 million new applicants every year. It's not an IQ test. It's what the name says it is. A scholastic aptitude test. They are looking at what you learned K-12 vs what other people learned K-12. The fact you don't understand the difference between an IQ test and an aptitude test leads me to doubt the credibility of your 140 IQ claim.

And SAT's are only one criteria. Schools also look at your socio economic background, extra curricular activities in school, community involvement, and the culture you bring to an academic community. But of course all of that is trumped by your daddy's ability to pay a quarter million dollars for your club membership certificate... aka your diploma. That was the deciding factor for Cheeto Jesus.

I'm not claiming to be the world's smartest man or a stable genius. I was just a clueless high school junior when I took that test. I considered my 1360 score good enough. There was no way I was going to any Ivy League school in any scenario. My parents were solid lower middle class blue collar.
