Why would this be a big deal? I think it's time for the immigrants to make a decision. They must choose who their allegiance is to. They can send money to their family and visit back home no problem. I'm kind of sick of seeing America as a dumping ground.

I singled out Israel because there's no way in hell you'd ever get citizenship there. Even if you did, you'd have to give up your American citizenship.

@boundless you don't have to block me if we disagree. i want to know your side and i'm open to anything that you have to say.

a lot of hard data is conspiracy. there will always be opinions on facts and the methods used to reach the conclusions it's based on. anyone can call something a conspiracy. you have to decide for yourself what to trust. i thoroughly debate myself when i'm curious about something. i want to see all angles so the picture is clear before passing personal judgement.

American law allows for dual citizenship. So long as you abide by American laws and maintain allegiance to the USA it doesn't matter what other citizenship you have. When laws conflict between the USA and whatever nation you also have citizenship with, realize that America comes first. We are the big dog, so pay respect where respect is due.

The State of Israel wants all people of Jewish heritage to return to the State of Israel, but most people have their own lives in other countries with family, a job/business, property, and a lifestyle, heritage connected to a country for example the USA, etc. and thus do not want to immigrate to the State of Israel just because Israel asks. I was born in Florida, my parents were both born in Florida, and so on... We've been here for a long time... much longer than the modern state of Israel has even existed, none the less I was emailed for over a decade telling me about the birthright Israel trip... The State of Israel basically runs a constant recruiting campaign like the Army to try to get people to go there to visit, to live, to join the IDF, to join Mossad if you are an intelligence agent, but at the end of the day most American Jews and Christians of Jewish heritage are loyal to America because this is where their heritage is at. It's weird that you think people that have centuries of allegiance to this great country would walk away to move to move to the State of Israel just because they are a Jew or that Jews don't go to jail... Jews get arrested, just not as often as some other demographics.

Nope, he acted as a key diplomat to secure French support for the American revolution and contributed to the foundational ideology of our country. Just because you have inroads to other countries, doesn't mean you aren't all in it for America...

@Gospeedracer almost every diaspora jew has a mission to marry a convert. this is because the gene pool of the jewish people was very small to begin with. they actually didn't want to inbreed anymore because their people were ugly. so that diaspora jew will have better looking babies or at least bring in new genes when the diaspora jew returns.
