• JFL - US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy
• MLK - Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King Jr

Drumpf was a historic figure before he went into politics. He had his own television series. Before that he had appeared in multiple movies and TV shows, and been referred to by name in many others. He’s a sports fan and the camera always finds him when he’s at an event.
He will be remembered. The only question is ‘How will he be remembered?’. By his initials or not? If i had to guess, he’ll be referenced by his initials, but not because of his importance. He’ll be remembered because of his importance. He’ll be referenced succinctly because US citizens are increasingly lazy with every passing generation.

No because he hasn't really done anything to be considered important. A lot of trolling, tweeting, showboating, and actions purely designed to annoy the left, but little of any historical significance that holds him above other presidents.

Besides he's always pushed the Trump brand so I doubt he'll want initials people in ten years won't understand.

I think you're right!

My guess is that how much Trump is remembered (and to an extent, what that memory is) will depend on whoever comes after Trump. Kind of like Alexander the Great and his father, Phillip II. At this point, Trump's presidency will primarily be remembered for renegotiating the world's trade structure and cracking down on NGOs. In the same way, Phillip II was remembered for consolidating power and building a military. The reason we don't remember Phillip II is because of what Alexander went on to do.

We'll have to see what happens next.
