There is a joke about how the film producer Kubrick put so much effort into faking the moon landing that he decided to film it on the moon. Which is to say, it would be easier to actually go to the moon than to construct this massive conspiracy.

I feel like people who have played Kerbal Space Program sort of understand this a bit better. While that game is only 1/10th the size of reality and they also handwave a bunch of things, it does demonstrate a few things. For example, the hardest part by far of the moon landing is actually getting into Earth orbit. Getting to the moon, land and then back again is fairly simple and requires a fraction of the fuel you used to gain orbit.

The calculations are also fairly simple. When I did my moon landings in Kerbal Space Program I just eyeballed it without even looking at the instrumentation. Orbital mechanics is both devilishly complicated but also very simple on smaller scales. The hardest calculations done during the moon mission was probably to dock the moon lander back with the space capsule after leaving the moon. Difficult, but not impossible.

Once you have a rocket and equipment that works, the actual trip itself is the easy part and 90% of that is just getting enough BOOM to reach Earth orbit.

Have you ever watched the videos of the moon landings? You know how I know it was real. Its the most boring videos you could watch its painfully slow and hard to hear. I think if it was faked they would have done a better job and made it a little more exciting.

Like I had a disagreement with a buddy the other day he tried to tell me Nascar is rigged and the winners are decided before hand. Lol you now how I know Nascar isn't rigged. If I was in one of those cars and you told me I had to let someone else win... I'd put my foot on the gas and try even harder not to let that person win lol.

There's no way all those people could've kept a secret. Someone would've said something. The only way for 3 people to keep a secret is to kill the other 2. There were hundreds of people involved in going to the moon and nobody has cracked so it happened.

Apollo 11 was a 1969. In the 70s they were dropping probes and rovers on Mars. Do you think in less than 10 years I can just not go to the moon but go to Mars? Mars would not have been possible if not for the information they got doing lunar landings on the moon.

I believe that the first Moon landing was a hoax, just to be sure that US crew landed before the USSR (because Soviets already had most of the other Space records).
But the second time it was for real.

Faking the lunar landing would have been MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than the actual event. Besides, the Soviet Union, wich was trying to beat the USA to the moon, admitted America landed on the moon July 20,1969.

Or Putin's own "October 7th" (and i don't mean his birthday) marking the world's deadliest school siege, where 90% of deaths happened only because the government wanted it, the beslan schools bombarding with tank shells and thermobarics.
