LOL Bullshit. Democratic Senators MERELY stated a reminder to enlisted soldiers of what they said an OATH to upheld when they joined the military. That's ALL they said, and of course, Scumpie and the right-wing lost their shit.

Let me give an example:

1) The "Commander in Chief" of your unit, your Commanding Officer, says to you " I overheard your bunk mate saying he thinks the President is wrong. That's a problem. I want you to eliminate the problem". That's an illegal order.

2) The "Commander in Chief" of the entire Armed Forces, the President, says to the entire armed forces " Any Democrat, or person, who speaks out against ME and refuses my orders (illegal ones), is a problem. I want you to eliminate the problem".

That too is an illegal order. Not ONLY that, but he should be on his way to prison right now for saying it. He should be impeached, removed, and jailed. It's tyranny. If anyone doesn't understand WHY it is, they have a very serious issue, even more serious than already being a cult member.

They are committing sedition and they are associated with recognized terrorist organizations. The government could prosecute them right now as enemy combats in the GWOT, but they are giving a warning at the moment because many dumb Democrats really don't know what they are fucking with. They are ignorant of the law. However, if their actions escalate into violent riots it would force the United States government to utilize the Insurrection Act to suppress a rebellion and they would certainly be prosecuted as enemy combatants and likely be sentence to death. Trump doesn't want to have to do that to them, but it seems a portion of them will insist on it and move forward with their plans. Some will back down and go back to their regular lives, while others will escalate and get the rope.

I lean towards "yes". Military members at any level are in fact not bound to obey illegal orders; that much is true. The problem is that these Democrats have provided no examples whatsoever of what these so-called "illegal orders" are. It would seem that they're saying "interpret orders from Trump how we want you to interpret them, which is 'illegal'".

Riot control, for instance, is not an illegal order; when I worked in retail, I had a customer once who was an active-duty Army Ranger whose unit was sent for as much in Los Angeles in 1992 during the Rodney King riots. Assisting in the deportation of illegal immigrants is not an illegal order. Using lethal force against unarmed civilians is illegal. To my knowledge, Trump has issued no such orders. But then again, to these people, Trump so much as sneezing at a crowd is on par with mass murder.
