The Democrats have themes for each election year and even the year leading up to it when it’s important. BLM was one of them and that lasted a few years. Occupy Wall Street was one of them as well. Pussy Hats, remember that? No Kings was the lack luster theme this year.

It also gets punctuated with riots and looting every so often, usually in the summer as the weather is better for that sort of thing.

It’s all performative. And once it gets tiresome for their followers they change it up with a new theme, hats, tee shirts etc.

Not really. The target has just shifted thanks to recent events with ICE. At no point have I been aware of a restoration of trust in the police so they will still suffer some form of consequences in the future.

They’re not though. I won’t deny they do arrest some shitty people, like those charged with domestic violence, but a lot of them are just addicts who haven’t been able to get help and just got unlucky. I usually just end up feeling bad for them because a lot of the time they’re too inebriated to realize what they’re doing until it’s too late

I think the fact that all the founders of BLM got caught buying mansions and living lavish life styles on the donations of the stupid people who got sucked into their scam did more to end BLM.

It absolutely did. The entire movement was to address police brutality against black people, and it established bodycams (the only based thing that came out of BLM) to expose this racist behavior. It only exposed that in most cases, the black people were the aggressors.
