What happens when a legal resident shoots an ICE agent in self defense?

This was supposed to be satire but as allways it hits too close to reality
An embarrassed National Rifle Association says it totally forgot to do the one thing it has been saying for years it is solely there to do.
“Our whole reason for lobbying for looser gun laws and amassing huge personal arsenals of weapons these past years was so that we could ensure the security of a free state and protect the people from an oppressive government. And then it actually happened, and the whole rising up against a tyrannical government thing just totally slipped our minds, which is a little embarrassing,” a sheepish NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre said.
He said the morale around the NRA has been pretty low. “The guys feel pretty silly. We had our well regulated militia stocked up and ready to go, just waiting for the moment when the Government would turn on its own people. And then the government started shooting protesters and rolling tanks down the street, and we were like ‘guys this is the one we’ve been talking about, let’s go!’. But then something else came up and we forgot to do it. Damnit!”.
Observers were shocked that the NRA had missed their opportunity to defend their country. “I can’t believe it,” one analyst said. “It’s almost as if they weren’t worried about the government at all. It’s as if they were actually just scared of black people”.

Realistically? That resident is going to die or face murder charges, no matter what the agent was doing. Shit, if I caught a cop raping someone with a gun to the victims face, and I killed them, I'm legally justified. But I'm also going to get killed by the cops or face murder charges.
no worries. they'd put you in protective custody lol
@Sevenpointfive Yeah, IF I survive the cops.
i mean you'd disappear. protective custody is just the excuse you're not around anymore lol
@Sevenpointfive Lol
It's kind of obvious right? You have this country called the United States of America. It's got a giant army/police force and a lot of people that back it. The people that live in that nation have laws because it is a republic. So if you want to be part of that nation, you follow the laws the people have created or else that giant army will come for you. You follow the rule of law or you get chased down by the greatest military force to ever grace this earth. If you want to brag about shooting part of the biggest army while breaking laws, you are just solidifying that you are actively at war with the greatest nation on earth and are an enemy of the state. There's consequences to that. You really think your scrawny ass is going to beat the United States of America?
Your Rights as a Permanent Resident
As a permanent resident (Green Card holder), you have the right to:
Live permanently in the United States provided you do not commit any actions that would make you removable under immigration law
Work in the United States at any legal work of your qualification and choosing. (Please note that some jobs will be limited to U. S. citizens for security reasons)
Be protected by all laws of the United States, your state of residence and local jurisdictions
Your Responsibilities as a Permanent Resident
As a permanent resident, you are:
Required to obey all laws of the United States and localities;
Required to file your income tax returns and report your income to the U. S. Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities;
Expected to support the democratic form of government (“support” does not include voting. Permanent residents cannot vote in federal, state, or local elections.); and
Required to register with the Selective Service, if you are a male age 18 through 25.
So legally if you are getting raided by ICE, you are Required to obey all laws and Expected to support the democratic form of government. If you are fighting the government you are violating your obligations. In Democrat states self defense laws are so ridiculous that you have to pretty much run out of your own home in retreat before you are allowed to defend yourself. So clearly there is no situation where you can get confuses. The officers have plenty of time to identify themselves as police/ICE and once they have you must comply.
There would be a trial and a jury will determine if it was self defense or not.

The process of claiming self defense to the police or any state power is guilty until proven innocent. You are taking ownership of an action now under investigation and your actions will be judge by a jury of peers.

Call 911 and say what medical emergency is needed. someone hurt another emt and police are there you should only say "lawyer" if you are involved. Safer for you even if you been affected.
They'd go to jail for murder unless there's hard proof it WAS in self-defense. Is that what you're gonna try to do, lefty? Maybe I'll get to see you on the news.
I thought you would know since you know ICE more than the back of your palm.
I lost count of how many questions you asked abotu ICE this month. your obsession with these people isn't normal... seek therapy buddy
He or she is prosecuted for assault with a deadly weapon. What do you prefer?
