Why do people abuse each other?

Men it seems like he's the man i shouldn't have to do anything and trying to show what a big man you are really it takes a gun to stop him. Woman who are just downright angry and always hit your spouse or child a gun would stop it also. Its called self defense for a reason.

I think people abuse each other because their own inner problems. they dont like themselves, or they are bottling something up on the inside to the point it explodes out. The release expresses the inner abuse as an outward action... your gun solution is an extreme of exactly that. Its not a solution. No body wins when mom has to kill dad, or dad has to kill mom. No one wins when mom leaves dad but never trusts again because she never heals. No one wins in abuse. Thats what makes it abuse. To beat abuse it takes compassion and understanding that can lead to healing. Not a gun to end it all... that just makes bigger problems with a short term solution. Self defense can be abuse of power also. That idea you have makes self defense preMeditated, and questionable as self defense... ironic how it then becomes abuse. It is a Slippery slope no matter how you look at it
