Why do lawyers get so much hate?

Wow the ignorance here is monumental. There are many different types law being practiced. Contract law, family law, environmental law, corporate law, and criminal law.

It’s the criminal attorneys who take the most shit. But they are literally required by the law to provide the best defense they are capable of for each client whether they like it or not. It is their legal and moral duty and their role in the justice system. Intentional failure to do their job can get them disbarred and thrown in jail.

It depends on the lawyer. They build there name by taking cases that the person might be guilty , but the lawyer is good and can get that person off.

That's what he's getting paid for or she is getting paid for but after a while , you build such an name and it's a moral value and ethic type deal
