There is no such thing as accidental suicide because by definition suicide requires intent.

Generally, yes, but a lot of people ideate suicide even to the point of planning it. Some change their minds, possibly at the last minute. It wouldn’t take a huge mistake to accidentally finish a job you no longer intended to see through. I gotta believe that happens way more than we could possibly ever know.

If you purely look at the definition, yes. I agree that it sounds weird. But by saying that, you also say that any error is intended. Someone can be in a state in which their mind doesn't work well, making them do things they'd later regret (if they can).

Suicide is simply killing themselves. So if you accidentally kill yourself, that is an accidental suicide.
