Yep that's a pretty fare assessment. They were an Islamic sultanate bore they were colonized and the general area was refereed to as the Second Barbaria (land of Barbarians)... Then they were colonized by the British and Italians and somewhat civilized under western powers. Improvements were brought to the country, then when then a republic was established after WWII it only stood independent for only 9 years before the Barbarians started a militant socialist revolution to take the power of the republic away from the people and turn it into a socialist shithole military dictatorship that oppressed the people. I couldn't possibly find any argument to defend Somalis. I just think a president should speak with some diplomacy and not sound like a redneck living in a trailer park. He's more right than wrong but it's a bad look and why he's looked down upon by world leaders. He's gotta learn how to play the game.

The problem is that pointing this stuff out has always made American people super uncomfortable because our government has tried to take a stance that we have issues with foreign governments and not the common people. It's how they sell us on different wars. The idea that the civilian population is the reason their government exists is incredibly inconvenient, even if you do it delicately.

The reality is that we're talking about a group of people who come from a truly awful place. And it's also a reality that the other places surrounding that place aren't as awful as that place is. I'm sorry, but the idea that those people had nothing at all to do with how bad their place is is simply absurd. It's even more absurd to think that somehow those people aren't going to bring those traits and experiences with them.

We don't have any problem believing that our previous relationships impact our current relationships. Why would citizenship be any different?

You know that Maine is almost completely White and a few natives, and it has the lowest crime rates of any state? Explain THAT to me. I saw another video where someone filmed the only black neighborhood in Portland, and it was all homelesses and tweakers.
You think it's an accident the only successful black nations are the ones that chose to remain colonies of European countries. Barbados is the only exception.
I saw a video recently, in some state Whites and blacks made separate communities. Within a year, the White one became a thriving town, whereass the black one existed for 3 years and was still a tent city.
Blacks, when they don't have White people holding their hand, they get confused and lost. They have poor money managment.

Also, explain to me why black Africans never sailed or conducted large scale trade or invented/discovered anything useful. They couldn't even figure out how to make a WHEEL! Even the indiginous people in the Americas were FAR more advanced.
So yeah, the other guy is right. If all Somalis left it wouldn't impact the country in a negative way. Hell, even if all BLACK people left. We might suck a little more at sports and lose a few cuisines and music genres.

I saw one news report, this Conservative congressman took an indepedent reporter into the Somali neighborhood. He said the kids didn't even have pencils, and when one of the teachers wanted to give one of the kids one, he wouldn't take it because she was "unclean". Ah, THEY'RE clean?
