That’s Massie’s bill. Drumpf has not suggested withdrawing from NATO. He has criticized NATO and said that he will be reducing our involvement in foreign conflicts.
That reduction is risky enough. We will not be withdrawing from NATO. We need to secure our domestic economy before taking such drastic action. If we withdraw from NATO, it only takes one major nation to stop backing the US dollar to start a chain reaction that ultimately destroys our economy. The banks and corporations won’t allow that.

NATO is pretty screwed up. And it's questionable if it actually accomplishes anything. But I don't think we should withdraw. Fixing NATO is a better option but I don't know if that will be done.

The U. S. does not need NATO for self defense.
NATO was established to protect western Europe against the USSR after WWII. The USSR no longer exists.
NATO is no longer defensive but is now a tool of western expansion world wide. It engages in intimidation and aggression, which leads to an arms race.
