The genocide of Poles and Jews under German occupation was spread over 5 years, it's not exactly a short timeframe, but it is admittedly shorter than what happens to the Palestinians in Palestine. However, the Palestinians have been unquestionably under constant threat of imminent death in Palestine since around 1948. It is definitely a coordinated mass murder, just spread over a longer timespan. Would "prolonged genocide" work? The reason why it's prolonged is most likely to unite the Jews in Palestine against a common threat, since they are so ideologically diverse they might otherwise get at each other's throats. It still does not make all the murder ethically acceptable.

Relatively speaking this is not that intrusive and sadly just par for the course these days. If you enter the EU now they're taking your biometric information. Only a few years ago the US expected you to have a covid jab before entering. Which is obviously eggregiously stupid, but I didn't see anyone complaining about. The US has always been pretty robust in this regard. So sadly your options are, sit at home, or comply with this bollocks when travelling, sadly.
