Lib: Someone who says they're a woman.
Asker: Okay so, what IS a woman?
Lib: Someone who says they're a woman.
Asker: I'm confused, you used a circular definition.
Lib: That's not circular!
Asker: Yes, it is. I asked you what a woman is and you said it's anyone who says they're a woman. That's circular.

Libs don’t usually ask that. But putting that aside for a minute, Your circular ‘gotcha’ question or post is kinda lame and half baked. Someone who says ‘they’re a woman’ is a fair response I think, and if the asker wanted further elaboration, then the asker could ask for that. I don’t think your ‘example’ is indicative of any kind of logic whatsoever. I think it’s more indicative of the askers ‘begging the question’ combined with a bit of a confirmation bias.

Libs don't usually ask what? The lib isn't doing the asking. They WERE asked by a normal person.
It's not baked at all, it happened in real life and I'm sure it does so time and time again!!
No, it's NOT a fair response!! What if you're in a shower in a locker room and me and 6 other guys walk in completely naked and start showering next to you? Are you gonna be okay with that just because we SAID we are women? Even though we have NO intention of EVER getting sex changes?
The asker ASKED FOR further elaboration and just got circular logic!!

funny. when will science determine why people "think" the way they do. It's got to be something in the gut microbiome or processing of hormones influencing the brain.

I'd say every side that defends a stupid position uses a combination of circular logic and hypocrisy. The left with gender, guns, and speech, the right with drugs and speech (There are many others, but those are the big ones)
