They gave the peace prize to a woman who's openly supporting a U. S. regime change war in Venezuela. She's the puppet government that the U. S. plans to install so that they can steal the oil and the minerals from the people of Venezuela. And she gets rewarded for this. Of course no group of people is completely independent but this is unbelievable. She's using the peace prize to legitimize her calls for this regime change war. It's difficult to imagine a more disastrous choice.

It's nothing but an award thrown out by a group of political activists.
Yes it's sad that it has such a big legacy that people are still influenced by it.
It’s not like those resources or any profits from them are getting to “the people” of Venezuela anyway. The only reason she’s gaining traction has nothing to do with the Nobel prize. The people who supported socialism are suffering and they want a regime change as much as the US does. This is how “politics” is done. Everything is about power and wealth. If you have wealth, you can buy power. If you have power, you can become wealthy.
The Golden Rule: those who have the gold make the rules.
That’s why the people that benefit from “capitalism” are the same ones who benefit from “socialism”. There is no system that humans can’t corrupt with greed.
Scientific Noble prize is still something worth, political ones are worthless since warlord Obongo got the prize for peace.
Nevertheless even FIFA gives now prizes for peace. It's like an amazon of Wallmart badge.
